Insight: “When a man who is honestly mistaken hears the truth, he will either quit being mistaken or cease to be honest.” —Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865)

Re: The Left: “Before the rise of social media, most Americans who used the internet for news bookmarked a variety of pages and then visited them individually. Over time, as social media grew and as people began to access stories they liked through an algorithmically controlled newsfeed, Americans used social media for news. This centralized the mechanism for information dissemination. Now, the left sees an opportunity: If all the news is accessed in one place, by restricting access in that place, the news monopoly once held by legacy media can be reestablished. All that will be required is labeling everyone they don’t like ‘misinformation.’” —Ben Shapiro

Observations: “Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Syria and Venezuela — a roster of tyrants — all support the Cuban dictator and warned the U.S. not to interfere. This is a clear sign the U.S. needs to provide help.” —Betsy McCaughey

For the record: “Spending $3.5 trillion and expecting it to combat inflation is like throwing gasoline on a fire and hoping it goes out.” —Congressman Ralph Norman

Non compos mentis: “Transactions aren’t capitalism. Capitalism is a system that prioritizes profit at any & all human/enviro cost.” —Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez regarding her $1.4 million merchandise ruse

Hot air: “It is not a mystery that China and the U.S. have many differences. But on climate, cooperation is the only way to break free from the world’s current mutual suicide pact.” —Climate Czar John Kerry (“It would be a grave mistake to prioritize climate change at the expense of allowing religious repression to fester and grow around the world.” —Mike Pompeo)

And last… “If Democrats in Washington cared about illegal immigration, they would be trying to finish Trump’s wall — a great infrastructure project. Instead, they’re trying to shove a massive amnesty plan into their infrastructure bill.” —Gary Bauer
