“If you take a look at Congress you will see the same type of behavior as you see in the FBI. One little seed of bad behavior responds just like any weed seed in your lawn or garden. It spreads day after day and corrupts day after day. After a year or two of such actions these things become everyday life. The phrase We have always done things this way is supposed to excuse everything, but deep down all of these people know it is wrong, yet they let the money they receive assuage their conscience and any moral thoughts that this may be wrong. And it gets easier each time.” —Illinois
“In professional auditing there is a set of controls known collectively as ‘tone at the top.’ In simple terms, the idea is that dirt at the top means dirt at the bottom and everywhere in between. Are there dedicated agents out there? If so, where are the whistleblowers coming forward to expose the dereliction of duty on this case? On the illegal plot to overthrow the Trump administration? On the abusive conduct with respect toward 1/6 protestors? On turning a blind eye to antifa/BLM murders, arson, looting, and riots? The FBI certainly looks shot through with partisan corruption, because its ‘mistakes’ always benefit the Deep State.” —Illinois

“With this bill’s huge increases in entitlement spending and number of people targeted to put on the federal dole, the Democrats have made another abject surrender: They have lost the war on poverty. (Victory is when people don’t need welfare.) Instead, they are opening a new front in their war on the nation’s children. It’s not enough to kill some before they get a chance even to breathe, or to load down the survivors with a lifetime of government debt obligation; now they want to take away the freedom of the preschool years with ‘universal pre-K education.’ Of course, the children will not get to enjoy much time with their parents anyway. The adults will be too busy working to make ends meet with inflation and all of the other new taxes.” —Minnesota
“I’d hoped the working Americans affected by Biden’s defiance of basic economics would be upset. It seems as though they are slow learners about financial pain, or refuse to take blame for voting Biden into office. “Here we go again. We are still trying to recover from the pandemic hysteria. We are now about to have Big Brother looking into and deciding how much money we can have. On top of this, we are told we must obey, we must comply, we must submit or be unpatriotic. Also notice that while we peasants have struggled along, not one politician, not one officeholder, has been shorted a nickel’s worth in his/her paycheck. For them, the eagle still flies every payday. “It’s good to know that someone knew what was really going on, but was clearly ignored. It has been my personal opinion that Joe Biden is the best president the Taliban ever had. Considering the way he has handled the Afghanistan debacle, he should be charged with aiding and abetting terrorists, because that’s basically what he’s done. I recall what he said before he took office, that he would work as hard for those who didn’t vote for him as for those who did, and this is clearly the case with the Taliban.” —Missouri

“I have never heard of a war won only with ‘over the horizon’ strikes. Even Operation Desert Storm, arguably one of the most successful large-scale military efforts in history, relied on troops on the ground to finish the work done by airstrikes (most of which had pilots’ eyes on targets at some point). Drone strikes can take out individual targets and force the rest of the opposition to employ inconvenient protective tactics, but by themselves will never force the surrender of a fanatical foe with significant numbers of people. The OTH boast is more snake oil from people who don’t know what they’re doing.” —Minnesota

“Not a Nicki Minaj fan, but I couldn’t agree more with her: ‘It’s beginning to feel a little scary.’ Actually, it’s more like things are and have been quite scary for anyone questioning or having second thoughts regarding the institutional promoted ‘science’ of the ‘pandemic.’ That most people appear to be unaware or, worse, don’t mind the restrictions on their speech or thought is even more scary. It is time to recognize the fearmongering and resultant hysteria now so prevalent in society and stop the infringement on our constitutionally guaranteed freedoms and liberty before it is too late.” —Florida
