The Patriot Post® · Conviction by Any Means Necessary
The American justice system was designed to provide a fair legal process. Our system is built upon the notion of absolute truth and justice for the purpose of law and order. Unfortunately, thanks to mainstream media using their own political bias and influence to dictate society’s moral code, our justice system has now become a witch hunt for convictions by any means necessary — even if it means trying to take pictures of jurors or threatening to riot, a few of the many tactics utilized for no other purpose than to intimidate and sway decisions made by a jury of one’s peers. This dichotomy sets up a hotbed for chaos, violence, and destruction.
When individuals and/or corporations engage in such spectacles, it blurs the lines and creates an inability or an unwillingness to seek truth, justice, and let the judicial process play out. Such parallels are what we are currently witnessing with the Kyle Rittenhouse and Ahmaud Arbery trials.
The Rittenhouse case has completely overshadowed the sins of Jacob Blake, who not only sexually assaulted his girlfriend but threatened to kill her. The Ahmaud Arbery case has completely overshadowed the fact that a neighborhood was living in fear due to many burglaries that were happening left and right.
As citizens, we have a right to protect ourselves and protect our neighborhoods using self-defense against what is deemed as a threat. Take, for instance, the firefight that led to Breonna Taylor’s death. Authorities found that neither Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, who shot into a group of plainclothes officers as they forced their way into her apartment, nor the police officers who fired 32 shots in response, killing Taylor, provably violated law. Walker had a plausible basis for believing that the police officers were actual intruders, and the cops had a plausible basis for believing they were being deliberately targeted as officers of the law. Although their actions led to Taylor’s unfortunate death, there’s a reason why none of them were brought up on charges. See how this works?
When you examine the facts in both the George Zimmerman and Darren Wilson cases, they bear startling similarities.
The narrative painted by media keeps everyone at odds with these facts because many people are living in a carefully curated alternate reality created by news corporations for no other reason than to manipulate their emotions for profit.
Victimization is so potent in our current culture. Tragedy can elevate one’s status. Just look at George Floyd. We now have statues of him around the world. Violent death is a prerequisite for “canonization” by a people who’ve thrown in the towel on life, so they glorify death.
