“It’s a well-known scientific fact that viruses generally mutate to be more infectious but less virulent. This is because their nature is to spread themselves without killing their hosts. However, this seems to be forgotten by trained leftist MDs and ignored by the leftist deep state and our leftist media. The result is ignorance and panic, which is what the Left wants. I can only suggest to America to follow the old sage advice: ‘Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.’ First we were fooled by Alpha, which was going to kill most of us. “This reminds me of my high school Spanish teacher from almost 50 years ago, who was chuckling at how Spanish is structured. For example, if I say ‘I broke the toy,’ it’s obvious that I’m at fault. In Spanish, it’s ‘me rompi el juguete,’ for which ‘rompi’ means ‘I broke,’ ‘el juguete’ means ‘the toy,’ and ‘me’ is a modifier that refers to ‘rompi’ and literally translates to ‘on me.’ So her point was that the fault is literally somewhat ambiguous, that either I broke the toy or it broke on me. Take your pick. But CNN’s ‘a car drove through a city Christmas parade, killing six people and injuring scores of others’ takes ambiguity to a whole new, corrupt level.” —Illinois

“Buttigieg is not taking in account the huge increases in electric power cost, which will result from (1) huge capital investments to upgrade existing power plants to handle the increased electrical load; (2) huge capital investments to provide additional transmission power capabilities; and (3) huge increases in natural gas costs, which account for at least 40% of the total power generation today. Gas has already doubled in price. It could very well double in price again. Guess what that does for your heating bill in the winter? Get your wallets out! Additionally, I have not heard any ‘experts’ comment on how much it will cost to operate an EV using today’s power costs. Guess it must be free!” —Kentucky

“Why don’t we go back to having just plain reporters who — at their best — can separate operative facts from opinion and conjecture? ‘Journalism’ by definition is commentary on the ‘facts’ (including context that the journalist selects as being operative). After WWII, journalism school faculties were the among the first targets of European refugee intellectuals of the Left. And see how successful they were.” —Washington
