Re: “Pearl Harbor at 80”
“The U. S. right now is in as great a danger as it has been since the collapse of the Soviet Union. China has what it needs to make a successful first strike. Using Putin’s move on Ukraine as a distraction, China could within the next several weeks put in place simultaneous attacks on Guam, the U. S. Pacific Fleet, the Philippines, and Okinawa at the same time it cripples U. S. communications and commerce with a combination of cyber and anti-satellite attacks. Then Xi’s thugs will demand entry to Taiwan and dare the rest of the world to do anything about it. If we had real men in charge, they’d quietly pass the word to China’s generals, ‘We’re watching you. Don’t even think about it.’ But we have Milley et al. May God have mercy on us.” —Minnesota
“I believe the decline in confidence in the military is attributed to the civilian and top military leaders. I’m a retired Marine with 22 years of active service, before, during, and after the Vietnam War. I stay in touch with the active duty Marines, and they exude the same confidence and professionalism that I experienced while on active duty. Furthermore, the perceived loss of confidence is probably attributed to all the negative press about the military during the last administration.” —California
Re: “Sex Trumps Ethics for CNN”
“Men who take advantage are rats, but at the same time, people throw themselves at those in powerful positions almost constantly. In my experience, women have come at me, not on the street or in a bar, but at work where I had noticeable power. In the military a woman accused me of wrongdoing, and she was proven to have done it to gain a job. My boss told me every officer on the base had at least one charge against him and one female had four charges against her. Most were proven to be in retaliation for not getting a benefit like time off. And it works both ways.” —Nevada
Re: “Biden’s Social Justice Department Sues Texas … Again”
“This lawsuit is a result of the Left’s preconceived assumption that people of color automatically vote Democrat. Not only is this insulting to their intelligence, it also ignores the fact that many, many Hispanics, especially in Texas, are conservative patriots.” —Texas
Re: “Pregnant Women in a Post-Roe World”
“‘The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?’ (Jeremiah 17:9). Christian men and women must teach that the origins of abortion are rooted in the darkest place of our inherently depraved heart. Scientific validity requires observable phenomena. Political validity requires common knowledge. Moral validity requires shared values. But our nation’s Declaration of Independence declares truths to be self-evident and unalienable, including: all humans are created with a right to life. This is neither science, politics, nor morality. We either believe or betray this truth. Denying the right to life prohibits the Imago Dei, denies our nation’s raison d'être, abandons our foundation, and kills our national soul.” —Missouri
