Re: “Biden’s DOJ Changes Tactics to Pay Illegals

“As I understand the situation, the law required that children be separated from parents in order to protect them from harm. There were too many who molest and abuse children and some came without parents but with another adult. This whole situation is a major affront to Americans everywhere — breaking the law and then suing the government for separation from children? Come on — get some reason.” —Colorado

“What I want to know is: WHY hasn’t anyone brought charges against anyone in the federal, state, or municipal governments for ‘aiding and abetting a federal crime’? It is a federal crime to enter the U.S. illegally, is it not? So why haven’t those people who have enabled such criminal acts been charged? Being in government is not a shield against prosecution for committing a criminal act.” —New York

Re: “Our Woke Military Goes to Extremes

“Thousands of military personnel are being discharged for refusing to take a questionable vaccine? Great timing, as Russia masses troops outside Ukraine, China fires hypersonic missiles and threatens Taiwan, Iran gets ever closer to nuclear weapons (if it doesn’t already have them), and North Korea rattles swords yet again. U.S. readiness is now dependent on a jab and wokeness? Our military is devolving right before our eyes.” —Maryland

Re: “Dire Omicron Warnings and Raging Hypocrisy

“A president’s job is to inspire, reassure, and comfort ‘the people,’ especially during difficult times. Biden’s comments about a ‘winter of disease and death’ are so reckless and negative that they are totally abhorrent. If Roosevelt or Churchill had talked like this we would all be speaking German.” —Georgia

Re: “Two Cheers for Joe Manchin

“From Federalist Paper No. 62: ‘Another advantage accruing from this ingredient in the constitution of the Senate is, the additional impediment it must prove against improper acts of legislation. No law or resolution can now be passed without the concurrence, first, of a majority of the people, and then, of a majority of the States. It must be acknowledged that this complicated check on legislation may in some instances be injurious as well as beneficial; and that the peculiar defense which it involves in favor of the smaller States, would be more rational, if any interests common to them, and distinct from those of the other States, would otherwise be exposed to peculiar danger.’ Apparently, Senator Manchin works according to founding principals.” —New Jersey

Re: “The Grinch Who Saved Christmas

“Jack Devine hit the nail on the head. Joe Manchin is voting with the people in West Virginia who elected him to the Senate. That is exactly what a representative democracy is and what the Founding Fathers intended when they wrote the Constitution. Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and ‘The Squad’ need to go back to high school and take a course in American Government.” —California

Re: “Salvation Army at a Woke Crossroad

“It’s the same with the Catholic Church. As long as there is a communist pope, it will never get another donation from me. Moreover, from what I understand, the Vatican is pleading poverty. With tens of billions in assets, primarily real estate, that’s a hard sell, so start selling.” —Nevada

Re: “Christmas 2021: ‘The Hand of Providence’

“Magnificently put! This former pastor and USAF vet (I received Christ through the ministry of the Navigators in 1973) appreciates your heart and efforts. I’ve just stumbled across your site in the past month or so and have been encouraged and challenged by your emails. Keep on keeping on, strong in the faith to the end.” —Virginia

“So true. For over 2,000 years groups have been trying to dismiss and eliminate Christianity. World conquerers have come and gone and scholars have tried to disprove the events and theology of the Bible. We are still here. Faith is a personal belief that can’t be given, only displayed. It prevails in the world because it is our choice, not a mandate. America was founded on our freedom, our choice, our passion. It it is clear from our Founding Fathers that it was their intention. God bless America.” —Illinois

“Many wonderful truths written beautifully in this article! Thank you so much for staying with the truth as you write. I’m praying our younger generations, as well as many in the older ones, will grasp these truths and see the real answers to life. Looking upward before trying to see what is outward in the world is so very crucial! Looking outward before you understand what and who is upward is a recipe for a miserable, unfulfilled life.” —Iowa

“Never happier to find someone else who believes. It really is the answer to what ails us. I either did not know or did not remember the bit about ‘It’s a Wonderful Life.’ I had the honor to play Clarence in community theater and I don’t know if the message was received better by the cast and me or the audience. I do remember one audience member, who I know well, telling me that I may have missed my choicest occupation. God bless you, your family, and your crew at The Patriot Post, and Merry Christmas.” —Virginia
