Now that they’re pivoting from COVID… With the coronavirus pandemic fast fading in the rearview mirror, the Biden administration has now decided that mandating the vaccination of illegal aliens caught crossing the U.S. southern border is the thing to do. Migrants apprehended illegally entering the country will now be required to get the COVID vaccine or show proof of vaccination in order to avoid detention and removal. The Biden administration had long resisted this move even as it imposed vaccine mandates on U.S. citizens. It is rumored that Joe Biden’s domestic policy advisor Susan Rice was concerned that a COVID vaccine mandate on illegal aliens would serve as a greater incentive for migrants to cross. However, this is a dubious rationale. The more likely explanation is that the Biden administration was loathe to impose a rule that would require expelling illegal aliens who refused the vaccine.
Is the WaPo suggesting vaccines don’t work? Meanwhile, The Washington Post reports that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending that people who received the Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine now seek to also get one of the two available mRNA vaccines. Due to the findings from a recent study, the CDC has concluded that the Johnson & Johnson shot provides the least protection against serious coronavirus-related illness and hospitalization when compared to the protection afforded by the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines. Talk about an about-face. It wasn’t that long ago that Leftmedia outlets like the Post or The New York Times labeled anyone who dared question the efficacy of any of the COVID vaccines an “anti-vaxxer.” So what changed? The science certainly didn’t. Any good scientist knows that challenging assertions and seeking rigorous testing of the data are important to the process of good science. Labeling those who may be skeptical of new scientific claims as supposedly “anti-science” is in fact promoting dogma over and against science.
Disney acknowledges it does have a “gay agenda”: Disney’s loud and irrational objection to Florida’s recently passed Parental Rights in Education bill has exposed what many conservatives have long observed — the supposedly family-friendly entertainment company harbors an inherently anti-family gay agenda. This reality has been brought to bear with the company’s leadership deciding to go all in supporting the Rainbow Mafia’s anti-family agenda. Latoya Raveneau, executive producer for Disney Television Animation, demonstrated this sad fact when she noted how welcoming Disney leadership was of her promotion of homosexuality. “In my little pocket of Proud Family Disney TV, the show runners were super welcoming … to my not-at-all-secret gay agenda. Maybe it was that way in the past, but I guess something must have happened … and then like all that momentum that I felt, that sense of ‘I don’t have to be afraid to have these two characters kiss in the background.’ I was just, wherever I could, adding queerness. … No one would stop me, and no one was trying to stop me.” Making matters worse, Disney Branded Television’s SVP/general manager Meredith Roberts praised Raveneau’s work by contending, “Layoya is a rare and uniquely talented person who elevates everything she touches, and her creative sensibilities span stories for preschool, kids, families, and adults.”
