Re: “Hillary Chides Deplorables for Their Ingratitude

“Who has benefited from the Democrats’ so-called accomplishments? Iran got a bunch of money not to showcase their nuclear activity. America lost energy independence while Dems continue the Green New Deal fraud. America loses everything under that plan. Dems funded Russia’s war on Ukraine. Granted, Ukraine is a nation fraught with corruption that Washington Dems envy, but still the average everyday citizen of Ukraine doesn’t deserve to be victims of a war funded by oil sales to the United States. Prices are rising, our savings are dwindling, and our retirement funds are losing money. I personally don’t see any gains for people who aren’t employed by the elite inner Dem circle. Give us our country back!” —Idaho

“Hillary’s always been a grossly dysfunctional elitist, without any real sense of her disdain for the lower class — a.k.a. ‘deplorables.’ She sealed her fate with that core revelation. I do hope she will run. She will provide another left-wing creature to deplore! The adjective she used to reveal how she feels about most of the ‘wretched masses’ was not one your average American takes kindly to, and one that will not go away.” —New York

Re: “Pence’s Plan for America

“Thanks for sharing Pence’s ‘Freedom Agenda.’ I have one concern that is left and it is at the core of many of these other radical issues. We must expose and battle the modern-day radical ‘free sex’ ideology driving much of the liberal mindset. A better interpretation of Proverbs 29:18 is, ‘Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint.’ Without personal and relational self-control taught in marriage and family, there is no way we will be able to secure enough communal or systemic control to handle a people that ‘casts off restraint.’ This must be fully exposed as our education, government, and media systems are almost fully in support of this agenda.” —Kentucky

“I always thought Mike Pence was a pretty straightforward, decent, bright fellow. Plus, he can speak without stepping on his tongue — unlike The Donald. It would be interesting to have him and Ron DeSantis in the primary.” —Florida

Re: “A Victory for Women’s Sports

“What sort of person willingly takes advantage of lesser physical beings at the highest end of sports? Because that’s exactly what these men are doing to women when they compete against them. There’s no question this should be outlawed. And where are all the feminists now? You would expect them to pulling their hair out and screaming loudly … but not a peep?” —New York

“How would ‘Lia’ Thomas feel if, when the starting gun sounded, he was the only one to dive in the pool because all the females in the competition merely stepped down from the starting blocks and walked away? He would be the winner of a one-person race having faced NO competition! He would be lonely on the podium with nobody on the 2nd- and 3rd-place steps.” —Georgia

“With all the dust, noise, and verbal fireworks attending the subject of juvenile transgenderism, there exists a fascinating irony: A parent is not allowed to give a child under the age of 18, or, in some cases, 21, a glass of beer or a shot of whiskey, but may freely allow, facilitate, or even cause the permanent genital mutilation of that same child without being accused of child abuse.” —Missouri

Re: “In Brief: Disney Is Interested in Your Kids

“After watching public education for the past several decades, it warms my cold black deplorable heart that people (mostly parents) are finally waking up, and they don’t like what they see. The remedy at this point is a complete shutdown of what passes for public education and a review of all that’s wrong with the system and the outrageous costs associated with anything government touches. Bring education back to county and state control only. I remember we were laughing at the inability of our high schoolers to make change for a dollar in the 1990s. It really wasn’t funny; it was evidence of a completely failed public education system. Thirty years later, here we are. The money must follow the student, and groomers have got to go!” —Oregon

“I am a professional educator. In life I’ve needed a plumber. I’ve needed an electrician. I’ve needed a mechanic. I’ve needed a carpenter. I’ve needed a welder. I’ve never ‘needed’ an actor — someone who makes money playing make-believe. Why should I care what they think about real world issues?” —Tennessee

Re: “In Brief: Back When the Left Liked Borders

“As the son and grandson of immigrants, I fully support the ‘old-fashioned’ immigration process. My grandmother immigrated to this country following WWI and my mother immigrated to this country following WWII. Both left family behind to become American citizens, which took five years, required them to pass a citizenship test, and they had to swear allegiance to our nation. They truly became ‘Americans’ and were proud to call themselves such, but neither left behind their customs. I support those who come here legally as well as those who seek asylum, but international law requires asylum seekers to stay in the first country in which they are safe — they can’t go ‘asylum shopping’ by crossing many borders and oceans to arrive here.” —Georgia
