The Patriot Post® · Lyin' Joe Lies Again about Trump's Vaccine
These days, the lies that come from the corrupt regime at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue are nothing new. But certain falsehoods, due to their audacity and outright preposterousness, simply have to be called out — like the one the White House published at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, just before quitting time and no doubt long after Joe Biden had called it a day. It read:
When President Biden took office, millions were unemployed and there was no vaccine available.
Huh? This claim is at odds with reality. Indeed, it’s even at odds with Biden himself. Here’s what his staff posted for him on social media on December 21, 2020, a full month before taking office: “Today, I received the COVID-19 vaccine. To the scientists and researchers who worked tirelessly to make this possible — thank you. We owe you an awful lot.”
Wow. Where’s Scary Poppins when we need her? Where’s the Diva of Disinformation when the lies are really quite atrocious?
This bald-faced bit of mendacity, though, wasn’t some careless utterance from Kamala Harris or Jen Psaki. It came from the official Twitter account of the Biden White House. Even CNN’s Jake Tapper noticed it, and he said as much to the nation’s leading COVID-19 obfuscator, Anthony Fauci.
“More than three million Americans had been fully vaccinated, more than 18 million had at least one shot by inauguration day,” Tapper began. “You’re the president’s chief medical advisor. Why is the White House politicizing the pandemic by tweeting out that there was no vaccine available until Joe Biden became president? It’s not true.”
To which Fauci could only laugh sheepishly and say, “Y'know, Jake, I’m sorry, I can’t explain every tweet that comes out. Um, so you’re talking to the wrong person. I wasn’t involved in the tweet. I, I just can’t explain it. Sorry.”

Not even the Trump-deranged jonahgoldbergs at The Dispatch are backing Biden. As they note: “On December 21, 2020, Biden received his first dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, and then received his second dose of the vaccine on January 11, 2021.”
When a Democrat administration has lost The Dispatch…
To recap: More than 21 million Americans had been at least partially vaxed by the time Joe Biden shuffled into office, but he and his crooked team claim “there was no vaccine available” at the time. Lying liars don’t get much more liarly than that, even if they’re forced to eventually correct the record.
On that point, we’re not sure what’s worse: the lie itself, the more than 24 hours it took them to acknowledge it, or the slipperiness with which they did so. “We previously misstated that vaccines were unavailable in January 2021,” the White House’s follow-up tweet noted. “We should have said that they were not widely available.”
Twenty-one million doses seems like a lot of availability for a “not widely available” vaccine.
Sadly, though, this isn’t the first time Biden has foisted this sort of falsehood on the American people. For example, as our Nate Jackson noted in March 2021, Biden lied through his pearly whites during his very first speech since his “unity” inaugural address: “Two months ago,” he asserted, “this country didn’t have nearly enough vaccine supply to vaccinate all or near all of the American public. But soon we will. … Now, because of all the work we’ve done, we’ll have enough vaccine supply for all adults in America by the end of May.”
Because of all the hard work WE’VE done? Since when was the Biden administration involved in Operation Warp Speed?
These people have no shame.
Updated to include the Biden administration’s “correction” of this latest lie.
