The Patriot Post® · Bow Before the Rainbow Mafia ... or Else
An assumption voiced as supposed “fact” by the Leftmedia is that homosexuality and other sexually deviant lifestyles are merely expressions of innocent and legitimate identities devoid of any malevolently motivating factor. The “born this way” rhetoric, which has no basis in scientific reality and is ironically undercut by the Rainbow Mafia’s embrace of “transgenderism,” is used by proponents as an irrefutable truth that only the ignorant and bigoted would dare question.
In this vein, stories that are presented as “objective” reporting in Leftmedia outlets like the Associated Press unabashedly support the LGBTQ lobby and decry anyone who would dare refuse to celebrate sexual deviancy. The tactic is designed to create full acceptance of the unacceptable.
The latest example comes from an AP article titled, “Experts: Anti-LGBTQ rhetoric could galvanize extremists.” The story focuses on a group of fringe white supremacist thugs who call themselves “Patriot Front.” Several members of this group were recently arrested in Idaho for allegedly planning to instigate a riot during a “Pride” celebration event.
But rather than simply report the facts, the AP attempts to paint with a wildly broad brush. To hear this “objective” news source tell it, pretty much all Americans who are politically conservative and reject the Rainbow Mafia agenda, including the grooming of young children, are as bigoted and dangerous as these fringe white supremacists.
The story quotes so-called experts like George Washington University researcher Jon Lewis, who contends that a “massive right-wing media ecosystem” is pushing the implied false claim that “there are people who are trying to take your kids to drag shows, there are trans people trying to ‘groom’ your children.” That is not a false notion; it’s a verified reality. Is a library drag queen reading to children anything other than seeking to groom them into accepting as perfectly good a blatantly immoral and sexually deviant lifestyle?
Another AP article about “right-wing extremists” and “anti-LGBTQ rhetoric” further lets the AP’s own pro-LGBTQ bias show: “Several posts have falsely sought to label teachers and librarians who accept the LGBTQ community as abusers or groomers of children. Others have lambasted pride events or drag performances as ‘depraved.’” To oppose does not mean to hate. And to accept does not mean to promote. Holding events to “celebrate” a group is not merely accepting its right to exist and its freedom to live according to its own proclivities; it is in fact promoting its ideology.
The great irony here is that accepting the right of white supremacist groups to exist does not equate to promoting their racism or celebrating their toxic ideology. Furthermore, when conservative leaders such as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis reject the gender confusion indoctrination or grooming of young children in schools, that is not promulgating hate against LGBTQ-identifying individuals, no matter how much Leftmedia outlets like the AP seek to conflate it as such.
While it might sound cliché, “hate the sin, love the sinner” is indeed the attitude that Christians are called to have regarding individuals who are caught up in various deviant and sinful behaviors. Those caught up in the lies promoted by the Rainbow Mafia need to be challenged, but also shown grace. Speaking the truth in love is key. In fact, in order to really be loving, those caught up in these deviant lifestyles need to have truth spoken to them. Simply affirming them and, worse, celebrating their deviancy is in fact doing them a great disservice.
