I don’t know about you, but I was starting to get worried about the economy. But then I heard Joe Biden tell Jimmy Kimmel: “We have the fastest-growing economy in the world. The world. The world.” It was kind of creepy how Joe lowered his voice as he leaned in to Kimmel to give him the good news. But hey, we’re recovering, right?

I don’t watch late-night TV much, so I’m not sure who Kimmel is. He must be one of Joe’s economic advisers or someone important like that. Still, I have this nagging feeling that maybe Biden’s advisers aren’t telling him everything. Being retired and on a fixed income, it sure seems to me that prices on pretty much everything have gone up significantly.

Gas prices at the pump have certainly gone up. Curse that Putin guy for doing that to us! I’m not an economist, but when you’ve lived as long as I have, you kind of figure out how these things work. I mean, if gas prices go up, so does pretty much everything else — food, clothing, you name it. If it has to be shipped, it’s going to cost more.

Then there’s the supply chain issue. I must have missed something because Biden told us he straightened out those dock workers, telling them they needed to start picking up the slack and put some hours in to unload all the ships lined up outside the ports. I can’t believe they would ignore him. On top of that, we have Pete Buttigieg who’s over all transportation. He’s got to be on top of this problem, right? I mean, I know he had to take time off for paternity leave, but three months seems like a long time. Sure, he couldn’t run a small city as mayor, but how hard can it be to be the secretary of transportation?

My spidey senses tell me something might be wrong because Joe seems to be getting angry a lot. He’s been yelling when giving speeches. I guess that means he’s just being passionate about whatever he’s talking about, which can be confusing at times. Then there’s Kamala Harris; it’s so fun listening to her speak. She’s quite the wordsmith with her powerful speeches. I believe she must be losing weight because there’s not much nourishment in the word salads she keeps tossing out. But hey, everything is great; the economy is humming.

Let’s face it, Biden and his ship of fools must really have a low opinion of the average American citizen. Day after day, they keep trying to tell us everything is fine. Joe’s doing a great job. And remember what the country looked like before Biden was elected. That’s not a good idea. Whatever our thoughts might be about former President Donald Trump, the country was in much better shape for EVERYBODY, especially minorities!

President Trump made some poor choices on some of his appointments. There are some individuals Trump should have fired right away. James Comey and General Mark Milley come to mind. However, Biden’s Cabinet has to be the most incompetent group of bureaucrats to ever serve in public office. Remember that when the midterm elections come in November.
