New bill aims to protect minors from gender experimentation: Republican lawmakers recently introduced a bill that would hold doctors and medical practitioners liable for performing life-altering gender “transition” procedures on minors. The legislation, introduced by Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Representative Jim Banks (R-IN) in their respective chambers, is titled the “Protecting Minors from Medical Malpractice Act.” It would allow individuals to sue doctors for “any physical, psychological, emotional, or physiological harms” due to any gender-transition “procedure, related treatment, or the aftereffects.” Cotton contends that minors are not in a position to “provide informed consent” for such permanently life-altering procedures and therefore “any doctor who performs these irresponsible procedures on kids should pay.” Banks noted that the “transgender” identity craze among minors will have negative results down the road: “Ten years from now, there will be hundreds of thousands of Americans who were permanently scarred by the radical Left’s agenda before they reached adulthood.” The Family Research Council’s Travis Webber praised the GOP lawmakers’ actions, stating, “This is a positive step for vindicating the rights of these victims of this ideology, which we’re seeing perpetuated across our nation right now." Furthermore, a new study has found that minors who undergo sex-reassignment in states that don’t require parental notification have a 14% higher suicide rate than states that require parental notification.
Biden’s DOJ stealthily investigating Trump for crimes related to J6: Spurred on by the Democrats’ politically motivated January 6 Committee, the Justice Department has effectively launched a criminal investigation into Donald Trump, but without technically opening an actual criminal investigation. The DOJ’s internal inspector general has launched a probe into former Trump administration officials Jeffery Clark and John Eastman. By going after these two individuals, only one of whom was a member of the Justice Department, the DOJ is able to pursue a criminal investigation without having to admit it is doing just that, which would create a political firestorm.
The growing problem of pharmaceutical abortions: According to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute, 54% of all abortions in 2020 were done using Mifepristone, the so-called "abortion pill,” which was the first time in U.S. history that medication was responsible for over half of abortions. With the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent overturning of Roe, the issues surrounding the legality of abortion will be decided by each individual state. And that raises a significant question. It would be relatively easy for states to strictly limit or even ban abortions via the regulation and/or banning of abortion clinics. But how will states handle regulating abortion in light of the fact that more than half of abortions are the result of Mifepristone? Unsurprisingly, Attorney General Merrick Garland declared he will protect the interstate trafficking of these drugs, saying, “States may not ban Mifepristone based on disagreement with the FDA’s expert judgment about its safety and efficacy.”
