When we talk about feminists, we generally mean left-leaning individuals who believe that women are just like men but aren’t paid enough for doing the same job. These individuals also generally believe that women are martyrs to family duties and fiercely defend their bodily autonomy vis-à-vis abortion. This age of woke nonsense that tries to connect and unify ideologies that are diametrically opposed has created conditions for feminists to start battling amongst themselves to clarify their position and beliefs.

The biggest feminist infighting is on the issues of abortion and transgenderism.

Though all feminists seem to be united on the idea that abortion is a right for all women, they are varied in their level of commitment to the cause. As writer Dawn Perlmutter states: “Women who are no longer content to protest peacefully now fancy themselves to be anarchists, freedom fighters and revolutionaries. Disrupting church services evolves into fire-bombing churches, threats against Supreme Court justices become assassination attempts, fake blood becomes real blood, and the spectacle of protest evolves into the spectacle of terrorism.”

Feminists lost the very low bar of peaceful protesting when the infighting between leaders at the Women’s March created a vacuum for lies to embed themselves in the minds of their followers. A lot of these women were convinced, mostly by the media, that abortions would be illegal throughout the states with the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Feminism has fractured into subgroups, all grotesque.

Even The New York Times has documented this malaise in the feminism movement. The article quotes Smith College associate professor Loretta Ross, who said: “The call-out culture spends much more time critiquing people on the same side than they do critiquing people who are actually opponents. It’s far easier to critique people who are accessible to you than to critique people who, not only can you not reach them, but you have reason to believe that they will fight back.”

Women, especially in the younger demographic, see what modern feminists are up to and are deterred by what they deem “cringe.” The New York Times (of all places) also makes the very important point that these young women are seeing that feminism is only capable of destruction and doesn’t provide tools to make their lives better. This is especially true when you look at the responses of different pro-abortion groups like Ruth Sent Us, which doxxed the Supreme Court justices, and Jane’s Revenge, a terrorist group that has defaced and firebombed churches and crisis pregnancy centers.

Feminists are also really starting to think about their unholy alliances with other intersectional subcultures that are diametrically opposed to their stated goals and worldviews. The most important one that comes to mind is transgenderism. The rise of the “T” in the LGBTQ+ movement is starting to feel a backlash.

Transgenderism and feminism are unlikely allies, but if you think about the messages of second- and third-wave feminism — namely, that women are just like men; there is no difference — the bedfellow seems less strange. It begs the all-important question, though: If men and women are the same, then why do gender dysphoric people go to such extremes, such as surgical mutilation, to force their bodies to look like the other sex? The answer is simple: Men and women are not the same and never will be.

This is a truth long held by beloved children’s book author J.K. Rowling, who has been raked over the coals. Trans activists have threatened her, heckled her, and perpetrated all sorts of intimidation tactics on her. To her immense credit, she has not backed down an inch. She is instead fighting for women, especially women who have swallowed the transgender lie and are dealing with the consequences.

Another prominent feminist but a more ill-informed leftist, Bette Midler, recently brought light to this pulling away from the transgender ideology. In a tweet last weekend, she wrote: “WOMEN OF THE WORLD! We are being stripped of our rights over our bodies, our lives and even of our name! They don’t call us ‘women’ anymore; they call us ‘birthing people’ or ‘menstruators’, and even ‘people with vaginas’! Don’t let them erase you! Every human on earth owes you!” She was raked over the coals by the far-left wokesters and called a TERF (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) for pointing out the truth. She has since apologized and reaffirmed her allyship for all the marginalized, but she was absolutely correct. Women are being erased.

Another celebrity, singer Macy Gray, stated in an interview with Piers Morgan: “I will say this, and everybody is going to hate me, but, as a woman, just because you go change your parts doesn’t make you a woman. Sorry. I know that for a fact.” She says, correctly, that girlhood and womanhood are unique experiences that men have never and will never understand. She is now facing the raging Rainbow Mafia.

The battle for the soul of feminism is a war where you hope that common sense wins and all the evils that plague the movement lose. It may be that the fracture spawns a new era, but if the leftist mindset is the guiding principle, utter destruction is the ultimate outcome.
