But when you think about Trump and classified documents, it’s usually right to think that at the bottom of it all is the Trump-Russia investigation. Law enforcement and Intelligence Community used classification, secrecy against Trump in the long-running ‘collusion’ fiasco. Drove him nuts. He repeatedly ordered lots of documents to be declassified. Some were, some weren’t. If this is really a dispute over classified documents, look deep into the roots of it and you’ll probably see the Trump-Russia mess.” —Byron York
