It wouldn’t be election season if Google weren’t trying to rig it for the Democrats.

Earlier this month, we covered the search-and-advertising giant’s attempts to sabotage the Republican National Committee’s fundraising efforts. In the crucial run-up to the November 8 midterms, Google got caught suppressing the RNC’s get-out-the-vote and fundraising emails by sending millions of GOP election emails to users’ Gmail spam folders.

And this week, we learned that Google is also rigging its search results to bury Senate Republican candidates’ campaign websites ahead of the midterms. As NewsBusters reports:

MRC Free Speech America has analyzed Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo search results for the 12 Senate races identified by RealClearPolitics as the most important to watch. Our researchers caught Google burying 10 of 12 Senate Republican Party candidates’ campaign websites while highlighting their opponents campaign sites in organic search results. This stands in stark contrast to Bing and DuckDuckGo whose search results treated Republican and Democrat campaign websites more neutrally than Google.

Coincidence? Please. And yet even though they were caught red-handed, here’s what Google told Fox News in response: “While we cannot respond to specific claims without seeing the research, there is no validity whatsoever to allegations of political bias on Google Search. As third parties have found, political ideology is not a factor in our search ranking systems. We don’t and would never manipulate search results, modify our products or enforce our policies in any way to promote or disadvantage any particular political ideology, viewpoint or candidate.”

What a luxury it is to be the Democrats, and to know that the world’s most powerful and frequently used search engine is actively on your side, actively shaping the information people find online.

Even yesterday, during a trip to Syracuse, New York, Joe Biden was making ridiculous and wholly false claims about the American economy. For example, he said, “When I took office, the economy was in ruins.”

And he said, “Today, the most common price of gas in America is $3.39, down from over $5 when I took office.”

Huh? The average price of gas was just $2.39 when he took office.

Then, as if he really believed these out-and-out lies, he said in his typical word salad, “Look it up. You can as my used to say, ‘You can Google it.’”

Why would the president say such a thing? Why would he intentionally drive people to Google in order to search for verification of the information he’s providing?

Yeah, sure, you could do as he says. You could Google it. But could you trust it?

Probably not.

“Google must be investigated for its un-American efforts to sway the election,” said L. Brent Bozell, founder and president of the Media Research Center. “First, researchers caught Google red-handed by proving Republican campaign emails were sent to spam. Now we’ve uncovered Google manipulating search results to hide Republican campaign websites while promoting Democratic ones. This is all an effort by Google to help Democrats and interfere in the democratic process.”

Of course, it’s not just Google’s search engine that’s corrupt. Google’s news aggregator, Google News, is also in on the deception. How so? Get a load of this “helpful” Google News search for “john fettterman”:

Can you think of any other John Fetterman-related issues that have been in the news of late, and which therefore might be of interest to voters? Way down there at the bottom of the auto-populated results is “john fetterman health,” but even that obvious result wasn’t there a couple of days ago. And still, even now, nowhere to be found is anything more health-specific, like “john fetterman stroke.” But most glaring of all, in light of Fetterman’s unequivocally disastrous debate performance on Tuesday night, nowhere does it auto-populate the most obvious search topic of all: “john fetterman debate.”

What might the auto-populating results yield for a Google News search of, say, “hunter biden”? Lots of different results, including “hunter biden movie,” “hunter biden wife,” “hunter biden net worth,” “hunter biden investigation,” “hunter biden children,” “hunter biden age,” and “hunter biden paintings.” But no “hunter biden laptop.”

But, yeah, Google wants you to believe its algorithms aren’t rigged; that its searches are honest.

Help may arrive one day, but not until folks start gravitating away from Google. Earlier this year, former Republican National Committee finance chair Todd Ricketts launched Freespoke, an alternative to Google, in the belief that Americans have a duty to protect free speech.

Elsewhere, a censorship-free web browser called Tusk also launched earlier this year, and also with an emphasis on free speech.

Google is doing its best to help Democrats and hurt Republicans in the upcoming midterms, but even that might not be enough to save the political party it favors. Still, just imagine how decisive this red wave would be if Evil Google didn’t have its ginormous elbow on the scale.
