The Patriot Post® · Disney Teaches CRT to Our Kids
Disney’s stock closed at $111.63 yesterday. A year ago, it was above $150.
Last March was particularly grim. That’s when, as our Emmy Griffin noted, Disney’s then-CEO, Bob Chapek, “dragged the company to a woke crusade against the state of Florida and Governor Ron DeSantis’s Parental Rights in Education bill (an anti-grooming bill deceitfully dubbed the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill by left-wing activists).”
Bad move, Bob.
You’d think this iconic American company would’ve gotten the message. Clearly, though, it hasn’t. That message — that the American people are fed up with the company’s wokeness — continues to fall upon deaf ears.
And it isn’t just “standing up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as the LGBTQ+ community in Florida and across the country” — it’s ramming the values of that community down our throats.
The ostensibly family-friendly Disney World and Disneyland have even banned the use of “gender greetings” within their parks — so the terms “boys and girls” and “ladies and gentlemen” can no longer be uttered by Disney employees on the company’s premises.
Perhaps even worse than the company’s embrace of deviant sexuality, though, is its promotion of race hatred. If that seems harsh, get a load of the language and the radical racial animus being uttered in a cartoon on Disney+:
Slaves built this country. And we, the descendants of slaves in America have earned reparations for THEIR sufferings. And continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in this systemic prejudice, racism, and white supremacy that was America was founded with and STILL has not atoned for.
This Disney clip is pure critical race theory, including the insane conspiracy theory that Lincoln did not free the slaves.pic.twitter.com/kLqPUU34Mn

The above clip comes from the second season of Disney’s “The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder,” a children’s show that clearly promotes a militant version of critical race theory and an a-historical interpretation of American history. Call it a cartoon version of Nikole Hannah-Jones’s “The 1619 Project.”
Who knew that “slaves built this country” and that Lincoln didn’t emancipate American slaves? Disney, apparently. Indeed, the cartoon is the work of racial arsonists. It certainly incites racial hatred, and it practically incites racial violence.
But that’s not all. As City Journal writer, Manhattan Institute fellow, and anti-wokeness warrior Christopher Rufo adds, the show’s executive producer, Latoya Raveneau — who identifies as a “biromantic asexual” — is committed to implementing a “not-at-all-secret gay agenda” and regularly “adding queerness” to Disney’s children’s programming.
Our friend Anthony Brian Logan threw some sharp elbows toward this “woke BLM trash.”
Suffice it to say that this new Disney cartoon combines the very worst forms of radical racial and sexual indoctrination. As National Review’s Rich Lowry notes, there’s even an episode devoted to the absurd notion that slavery “created” American capitalism.
But while Disney is eager to beat the American people over the head with its revisionist cudgel, the company assiduously avoids any mention of the modern-day slavery occurring under the direction of the Chinese communist government. As columnist Hank Berrien writes, Disney “cut an episode of The Simpsons from Disney Plus streaming platform in Hong Kong that referenced ‘forced labor camps’ in China.” Next thing you know, Disney will be thanking the ChiCom enslavers. Oh, wait…
As for “The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder,” Disney has produced a made-for-children screed that seeks not to educate but to indoctrinate — in the words of columnist Nate Hochman, “a spoken-word stage performance that would make Huey Newton proud.”
We can’t denounce this dreck loudly enough.
