I don’t know Donald Trump. My knowledge of him is from broadcast and print media. So I can neither “love” nor “hate” Trump. My advocacy is based upon evidence of his historical and unprecedented achievements as POTUS. But my support is tempered by his reckless tweets, impulsive and crude insults, refusal to differentiate between attacking foe vs. disagreeing friends, and abrasive comments. Not very statesmanlike. Thus, I must conclude both Trump’s loyalists and enemies are emotionally energized by his personality and deny rational analysis of empirical evidence. I can remain an unbiased, objective, and rational voter. —Missouri

What else have the Democrats, while in control, lied about and kept from the American people? Think about the two impeachment proceedings, the Robert Mueller report, the congressional investigations of the likes of Hillary Clinton and FBI leadership, and the Hunter Biden fiasco. And just how is California going to quit doing business with Walgreens? Does the state buy medications for state prison inmates from them rather than the manufactures? Probably, knowing how bad California is at managing its money. How about the county jails? Then there are various state insurance plans that have pharmacy benefits. Newsom is just a blowhard. —Florida
Explain to me, Walgreens, how morally it’s okay to sell the abortion pill in some states and not okay in other states. Aren’t you picking and choosing where you’re gonna “make sales” so you won’t be hauled into court over it? As for Newsom, is he also sure these “pregnant men” will want the abortion pill, or is it only for women born biologically women? Asking for a friend. —California
Since those arrested were violent and a threat to the community, perhaps they should be denied bail. The mere possession of a Molotov cocktail is in violation of the NFA and a federal felony. There is no intent to use the device required. —Tennessee

It isn’t just the regionals. The Big 3 — Delta, United, and American — are also sacrificing experience in the name of diversity. I’m a pilot at an airline and I’m seeing First Officers being hired at major airlines with very little experience everyday in the name of DEI. Just three years ago, major airlines would require a candidate to have flown at least 2,000 hours at a regional airline, including 1,000 hours as the Captain, before even granting the candidate an interview. Today, they are hiring FOs who have as little as 750 hours in the airline industry. Since experience above a minimum level is not required to upgrade to Captain, there are 23-year-old Captains who become the least experienced pilots to hold their positions in 60-70 years. —Georgia

Great question. However, there are certain companies that are simply unavoidable. Public utilities, for instance, hate us. But we have no viable alternatives. Same goes for cell phone services, ISPs, and even online marketplaces that have certain things we can’t afford elsewhere. But things are changing, and parallel economies are being developed. But having full dependence on Public Sq., Red Balloon, etc. is still far off. That said, the vast majority of companies, whether retail, financial, tech, and even medical, are unnecessary and can be replaced with better alternatives now, and there’s no excuse to support those. Still, it’s a process — but one we should all be in. We should support one another with as many options as we can. —California

Between about 1968-1992, military service members avoided wearing uniforms in public. Service members were content to be ignored; better than insults or worse. Then “Desert Storm” changed the public. Service members heard “Thank you for your service,” drank gifted coffee, and were treated respectfully — all from strangers! Every victim of crime or person helped by police is grateful, even profoundly so. Next time you see a law enforcement officer (LEO), don’t ignore them. Don’t interfere, but take time to ensure they know they are appreciated, thank them for their service, and buy them a cup of coffee and more if possible. We dare not wait for a civil “Desert Storm” to honor the sacrifice of our LEOs. —Missouri
