The gender ideology wave has taken our country by storm through major corporations, public schools, universities, and everything else in between. We are bombarded everyday with propaganda forcing everyone to accept what once was a mental illness. The most vulnerable to gender ideology are children and, more specifically, children on the autism spectrum. It is no surprise that millions of children attend a public school who can and will facilitate a gender transition while keeping it a secret from parents according to a non-comprehensive list found on Parents Defending Education’s website.
Gender ideology seems like a new phenomenon in the United States, but it has already made its rounds in numerous European countries. Sweden embraced gender ideology, but after following the science it has since placed restrictions on gender-affirming care such as mastectomies and hormone therapy for minors. It has been obvious for many that providing gender-affirming care or surgeries for minors could have serious side effects due to the limited evidence-based research available. Unfortunately, voicing doubts or any opposition to gender-affirming care could get one labeled as a transphobe or bigot, leaving many sane Americans voiceless.
The Post Millennial recently reported on a trans teenager participating in a 2016 Dutch study who died from serious complications during his gender-affirming surgery. The article states, “The patient is described as being a ‘healthy’ 18-year-old for whom standard vaginoplasty surgery was ‘not feasible’ due to having undeveloped genitals as a result of early puberty suppression.” Furthermore, the article says: “Major complications began within 24 hours of surgery, and necrotising fasciitis was confirmed in the days that followed. Despite large doses of intravenous antibiotics and ‘repeated surgical debridement,’ the previously healthy patient went into multiple organ failure and died.”
The death of a teenager seeking gender-affirming surgeries is tragic, especially when the death happens during a study. Clips from the show “I Am Jazz” have recently resurfaced on social media in which the boy, Jazz, speaks of complications during his surgeries and his mom is upset with him as he brings up not feeling himself even after all the gender-affirming care he has received. This is truly unfortunate to those children who have fallen prey to what is the gender ideology cult.
What is most disturbing are those parents who coach their children into this ideology for likes on social media and fame much like Jazz’s mother did. It is the parents’ duty to protect their children from the dangers and evil of this world. The famous saying “It takes a village to care for a child” may not always ring true. Sometimes that village contains people who seek to confuse and harm children while they are under their care. Sometimes that village contains people who are mentally ill and unfit to be a part of a child’s village until they seek care for themselves. If parents want a village to care for their children, that village must be carefully curated and constantly reevaluated.
