  • Debt ceiling negotiations continue: The Leftmedia continues to run interference for Joe Biden over his refusal to negotiate in good faith over a deal to raise the debt ceiling. The New York Times editorial board, for example, wrote the disingenuous headline, “Are Republicans Willing to Raise the Debt Ceiling?” Talk about gaslighting. An accurate headline would read, “Is Biden Willing to Negotiate With Republicans Who Passed a Debt Ceiling Increase Bill Last Month?” The truth is that Biden has been the one dragging his feet with a debt default looming. Simply put, Biden is not being honest when he claims, as he did over the weekend, that “I’m waiting to hear what [the Republicans’] exact proposal is.” Again, it’s been given. The ones waiting for Biden are Republicans, and Democrats increasingly are worried that Biden is losing his stubborn standoff. Meanwhile, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy expressed optimism that a deal could be coming by the end of the week.

  • Released offender attacks Connolly staffers: Fairfax City Police on Monday arrested a man who attacked staffers for Democrat Representative Gerry Connolly (VA) with an aluminum bat. The perpetrator was identified as a man of Asian descent who had been arrested last year after he attacked two police officers. Thanks to George Soros-backed prosecutor Steve Descano, however, assault charges against the individual for that attack were dropped following his completion of a mental health treatment program. Descano, who’s up for reelection this year, defended his decision by arguing, “The original incident stemmed from a mental health crisis and charges were [dropped] as part of an agreement that ensured the defendant was receiving mental health services and complying with treatment.” However, Descano has a history of going soft on criminals, and this latest assault on congressional staffers serves to underscore that his failure to hold criminals liable is threatening public safety.

  • Biden U.S. attorney for MA steps down due to ethics probe: One of Joe Biden’s most controversial appointees is out, as U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts Rachael Rollins tendered her resignation on Tuesday. Rollins was only able to gain Senate confirmation thanks to Kamala Harris’s tiebreaking vote, and she was notorious among conservatives for her radical leftist soft-on-crime policies as well as her disturbingly racist views. Rollins is exiting due to a months-long investigation by the Justice Department’s inspector general into ethics violations regarding political fundraising while in her position. Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) observed, “I warned Democratic senators that Rachael Rollins wasn’t only a pro-criminal ideologue, but also had a history of poor judgment and ethical lapses.”

  • Google cofounder vanishes ahead of Epstein questions: Larry Page, the cofounder of tech giant Google who allegedly had ties to Jeffery Epstein, has gone missing. The U.S. Virgin Islands has been unable to issue a federal court order subpoenaing Page because authorities have been unable to locate him. The subpoenas are related to the Virgin Islands’ prosecution of JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon over legal liability for Epstein’s years of sex-trafficking. Apparently, either Page is fearful that he could be implicated in Epstein’s crimes, or others are worried about Page’s testimony. Either way, there are many rich and powerful people who have yet to answer for, at the very least, their enabling of Epstein’s criminality.
