The Patriot Post® · Summer Camps for 'Trans' Kids?

As Pride Month winds to a close, we are left with a few lingering outrages that deserve discussion and serve as a warning. Summer is a time for children to enjoy time off of school. Many even participate in a summer camp or two. This summer, this author has talked about the Marxist summer camp in New York City, but there are also summer camps across our nation that are dedicated to “trans” kids.

There are overnight summer camps marketed to children generally 12 and up, but Camp Indigo — with locations in Burbank, California, and Boulder, Colorado — has a day camp open to kids as young as four.

Many of these camps are exclusively for “trans” kids. Other LGBQ+ kids are not welcome. None of these camps allow parental involvement (or if they do, parents/caregivers can only help with an activity that their child is not in). Some camps even offer “enrichment” such as “exploration of trans history and trans-focused sex education.” But don’t worry — the starting age for this “educational” course is 12.

One camp in Maine is actually endorsed by that state’s Department of Education. Another advertises free chest binders for gender-confused girls. The Daily Wire, which broke the story, listed 11 camps.

The Wire also notes that some of these camps are at undisclosed locations, supposedly to protect those camps and the kids who are attending.

The whole selling point of these camps is that kids are “free” to “be themselves.” Seems like a dangerous proposition. As one Hot Air writer points out: “Do you know who gathers children in secret locations and bars access to their parents? Pedophiles. Or at least someone who knows they are doing something wrong.”

First off, there is no such thing as a “trans” kid unless he or she was created in a laboratory or by the tender molding of deranged degenerates (which in this case includes parents). You really cannot blame teachers for this one. When you send a child to summer camp, that is all on the child’s parents.

It prompts the question: What sort of parent would willingly send a child to a summer camp that is morally damaging and also risky to the child’s physical safety?

Answer: Child abusers. This isn’t a term that is thrown around lightly, but what other label fits them? They aren’t loving their children by indulging a delusion. They are sending their vulnerable child to a secretive overnight camp with other people who adhere to an ideology that is deeply associated with pedophilia. Is this a new form of child sacrifice? What can be gained except plaudits from their like-minded peers and the eventual destruction of the lovely person who was their child?

The fact that transgenderism is such a faddish thing (i.e., a social contagion) that parents are even sending their kids to literal groomer summer camps points to what an insidious grip this ideology has on our nation. This summer, there are almost a dozen spread across the country. Next summer, perhaps there will be hundreds.

Over the weekend at the NYC Drag March, drag queens chanted that they are after our children. The trans activists are going as far as our society is allowing, and this direct threat toward our children should awaken the primal defense monster inside every loving parent.

Children are the unwilling and vulnerable victims of ideological capture. The gender cultists are happy to gloat about it publicly now. Are you awake yet?
