Re: SCOTUS Rulings — Why Not 9-0?

“Ever since the first judge decided he/she knew better than the Constitution, we’ve been guaranteed to rarely see a 9-0 SCOTUS decision. I remember several years ago being floored by the announcement of Kathleen Kane, then attorney general of PA, that she didn’t agree with the ruling that marriage was between one man and one woman and therefore she wasn’t going to uphold that law — period. She did eventually get run out of office for other illegal acts, but such breathtaking arrogance from a public official simply deciding she was going to pick and choose which laws to uphold was incredible. Now, unfortunately, it’s become the norm, so we have to thank God whenever the conservative SCOTUS justices do agree on something.” —Pennsylvania

Re: Dems Once Again Wail About Packing the Court

“The very idea that some people are unhappy with results stemming from Supreme Court decisions is a strong testimony to having the very court we have. If everyone was happy with the SCOTUS decisions, why would we even have that court? Everything would be settled in local taverns. SCOTUS is not meant to be a rubber stamp for either party. If that was so, one-half of this country would never have a say. That is okay if one were in that party, but people move in and out of parties and views change.” —Nevada

Re: Down Goes Biden’s Student Loan Bribe

“If the justices make decisions based on party affiliation, we are all being underserved. They are expected to be above reproach and honorable. That’s why not having some simple subjects gain 100% support seems strange or even disingenuous. We expect a lot from the court and we are also entitled to it.” —Washington

Re: Joe Biden, Deadbeat Granddad

“Joe Biden’s refusal to acknowledge his seventh grandchild is just one telling example of his many character and decency deficiencies. He is not a ‘good Catholic’ by any stretch of the definition, as exemplified by his politically expedient pro-abortion stance. Jill, who is most aware of Joe’s impaired cognitive and physical abilities and their limitations on his leadership of the USA, is also indicative of questionable character. Most lacking in decency, however, are members of the mainstream media who refuse to report the truth, and in fact go out of their way to cover up this dire situation. Our nation, ‘imperfect though it is, deserves better.’ Much better, on each of these three fronts.” —Florida

Re: Is Democrat Extremism Alienating Minorities?

“Democrats have been laboring under the idea that ‘once a Democrat, always a Democrat, so we don’t need to do anything to ensure we retain their loyalty.’ The party has become fat and lazy, thinking it will always be in control, so it doesn’t matter what it does. Hopefully, the election next year will demonstrate that it should have been more watchful.” —Oklahoma

Re: In Brief: The Right Way to Label the Left

“In the same vein, let’s stop using the term ‘Democratic Party’ to refer to the Democrats. It provides them with similar benefits to the terms ‘liberal’ and ‘progressive,’ yet there is nothing democratic about the Democrat Party. Don’t substitute the adjective ‘democratic’ for the noun ‘Democrat.’ It doesn’t describe anything about them.” —Utah

“The American public won’t relate to ‘leftist’ because it doesn’t generate emotional hooks that draw people in like the terms the Left uses: ‘bigot,’ ‘racist,’ ‘climate denier,’ etc. Alternatives: 'Snakes’ for leftists who seduce and mislead the population with slick, feel-good slogans and vague terms like ‘assault weapons’ to alarm mothers; 'lemmings’ or ‘mice’ for liberals who mindlessly vote for leftist ideas just because they aren’t conservative ideas; and ‘con men’ for the mainstream media who pitch the leftist snake oil.” —Virginia

Re: The South Rises Again

“It’s not a question of whether the big business heads get it or not; it’s a question of whether they CARE or not. The majority of the CEOs have their own ‘golden parachute’ and don’t care about the lives and safety of the lower-echelon workers. Rampant crime, regulations, etc. are just part of the ‘cost of doing business.’ When the going gets really tough, the CEOs will just ride into the sunset.” —Texas

Re: How Military Service Lost Its Appeal

“When you put one outlier in the chain of authority, the chain fills with outliers. We all are or have been victims of ‘brown-nosers’ who move to the top because of their relationships with bosses. We did the work, but the other guy got the promotion because he got the recommendation. One could pick them out, because they even dressed like the boss before the two went out for dinner together. Many will not sign up for the military because when we play big boy games, we want big boys to lead us. Make any one service a service of MEN and we will see recruits.” —Nevada

Re: Good News: ‘Sound of Freedom’

“I’ve been blessed to be able to donate to Tim Ballard’s Operation Underground Railroad for years now and I’m proud of the work he and his team have risked life and limb to do. I urge all readers to consider becoming an O.U.R. donor. Every little bit helps.” —California
