It is hard to forget the expectations of an Obama female supporter during the 2008 election who exclaimed on video: “I never thought this day would come. I won’t have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won’t have to worry about paying my mortgage.” Standing in a long line in Detroit, a woman expecting to get a cut of Obama’s Stimulus is heard saying that she was waiting to get some “Obama money.” When asked where Obama got the money, she reportedly replied: “I don’t know – his stash. I don’t know where he got it from, but he’s giving it to us, to help us.” Such comment appears oblivious that Obama’s “stash” is the money that comes out of the pockets of fellow citizens. It is the labor of hard working, tax paying American men and women that props-up and stimulates the economy.

As the big socialist-sugar-daddy in Washington, Obama’s socialist agenda feeds the entitlement mentality that breeds expectations of getting something for nothing. Such reliance on Obama is tantamount to an innocent child getting a free, shiny toy – made in China – loaded with lead. There are consequences. It victimizes its believers. History shows that what the socialist-sugar-daddy gives, the socialist-sugar-daddy can take away and increasingly threatens to do so in exchange for fascist control over the lives of citizens. The socialist trap is notably being set for American women under the guise of compassion. So, how have women fared under the Obama presidency thus far?

Women who sacrificed time, money and effort to own their own businesses are feeling the crush of Obama’s regulatory policies that are forcing them to close their doors for good, entrenched unemployment has put family security in jeopardy with millions of husbands and fathers out of work, older teens and college grads cannot find jobs which prolongs their reliance on financially-strapped parents and as distracted, preoccupied mothers struggle to keep their families afloat, school children are increasingly being subjected to and indoctrinated by class curriculum and videos produced by leftist radicals with socialist-communist vitaes.

Women are also asking – what is really being shoveled? After squandering money (who knows where) for Obama’s shovel-ready-jobs scheme that he later joked about, Obama now wants more taxpayer money to revitalize his planned shovel-ready-jobs-part-two, with union workers as designated hires and a special bank to “oversee” $60 billion in new federal funding. Though some clerical staff will be required, the bulk of the female American corporate, service or domestic work force is nowhere near “shovel-ready” with experience, physical ability or union affiliation.

In Obama-world, women are also finding themselves caught between generations with both children and parents reliant on them for care. With doctors fearful of not being adequately paid through Obamacare, senior parents on Medicare are being turned away in droves. Under Obamacare, women will increasingly be required to provide at-home personal care for their senior parents as medical services for seniors are cut back or eliminated, all of which is compounded by Obama’s demanded half a trillion dollar cut to Medicare services and forthcoming rationed care unless the Supreme Court rules Obamacare null and void.

Women’s health has fallen victim as another pawn in the Progressive left’s drive to seize power. During a radio interview, a lifelong Democrat asked me to warn Americans as he described the dire straits of his 40-year-old wife who is on Medicare for the Disabled: “Our doctors have told us to be prepared for the worst because right now we can hardly find a doctor.” Yet, Obama wants billions of taxpayers’ dollars to be spent on abortions and sex counseling.

With new insurance regulations being forced on employers, women will find themselves less likely to be hired as they represent an increase in costs to employers’ health benefits coverage. Though preventative care is a good policy for all Americans, to do so without some co-pay, with the exception of those within poverty guidelines, invites abuse. The real driving force behind the Obama administration’s foray into women’s health care is to elevate abortion as an accepted form of birth control. It echoes Al Gore’s call for population control via aborted babies of which black babies are the highest percentage of victims.

American women are being damaged, their jobs are being lost, their moral standards challenged, their families are in jeopardy, and their future is dim. Some of what the Obama administration is offering up to women in exchange, is free breast pumps, a morning after pill and sterilizations free gratis of the American taxpayer. You know, those hard working providers of America’s revenue stream – otherwise known as “Obama’s stash.” Bottom line, under Obama’s Progressive policies, American women have suffered a serious down grade.
