Figures often beguile me, particularly when I have the arranging of them myself, resulting in the remark Mark Twain attributed to Disraeli: “There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics.” Mark Twain popularized the saying in “Chapters from My Autobiography,” published in 1906, saying, “Figures often beguile me, particularly when I have the arranging of them myself.” At one time Mark Twain attributed the remark to Disraeli but that has not yet been validated.

The Washington Times reported that Cleveland kidnapper Ariel Castro is a registered Democrat but that is irrelevant, as true Conservatives do not engage in demagoguery. Simply put, bad people do bad things, no matter the label.

A deeper question is how is it possible or thinkable that the other two Castro Brothers DID NOT KNOW about the three girls kept captive in their house for ten years? If the brothers really did not know, having lived in the same house with their culprit brother for ten years, what does that say about them and fellow Americans who cannot see the rot they are actually living in? Furthermore, the Castro brothers not knowing that their brother had been keeping three kidnapped girls in captivity in their relatively small house, is incomprehensible and statistically impossible, falling into the third part of “lies, damned lies and statistics.” The two unknowing brothers would have had to be ignoramuses to be unaware of what was transpiring by their brother within their walls.

Neighbors want the Cleveland prison-house torn down as do residents in other areas of school, theatre and other violence. With all the evil in the country, should the entire country be torn down and perhaps abandoned as the Mayans abandoned their sophisticated advanced culture and beautifully engineered lasting monuments?

Why must every issue be twisted for political gain? Why has MainStream Street Media (MSM) abandoned its Fourth Estate obligation to restrain runaway government by its questioning and investigative responsibilities? Why is the MSM just another political arm of liberal government?

Lies and distortion permeate politics but MSM shows lack of independence when it rightly criticizes many actions of Republican President George W. Bush. Not only does Obama get a total pass, but his most egregious actions and policies are excused. Obama is a flagrant abuser of Presidential powers and the Constitution, and lies to cover-up what may rise to levels required for impeachment.

Current lies under the microscope center around the 9/11/2012 Benghazi terrorist attack – events totally misrepresented by the administration and against all evidence and common sense. Much of the MSM still endorse it as mob violence in reaction to an anti-Islam video by a convict that was and still is largely unknown.

Why does the MSM look through the opposite end of a telescope in seeing Obama’s transgressions, but report them as barely visible, trivial, and not worthy of pursuit? Five days after the storming of the Benghazi Embassy, not giving the American public credit for any smarts, President Obama and Sec. of State Hillary Clinton trotted out Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice for five Sunday morning TV shows to repeat the bald-faced lie.

Why did the MSM rightly come down hard on the infamous Richard Nixon presidency and the bungled burglary of a Democrat Party headquarters? No one died but Nixon ingloriously was forced to resign in shame or be impeached. Now the Obama Benghazi escapade in which the American Ambassador to Libya and three other Americans died during destruction of the American Consulate by terrorists is something “to be investigated.”

Here is the President who quickly made judgments in defense of Black Harvard Professor Gates arrested by a White police officer. After the shooting death of Black Florida teenager Trayvon Martin by Hispanic George Zimmerman, Obama quickly blamed the white man and added that if he had a son, he would be like Trayvon Martin, who incidentally was a troublemaker with a record, and had been expelled from school – facts not allowed in legal proceedings.

Fast forward eight months from Benghazi, and the quick-one-to judgment, after hemming and hawing, is still investigating saying the truth will come out. Not if he can help it, and at least not while he is still President. More than two weeks after the terrorist attack, Obama still denied terrorism, blaming it on an almost invisible video clip. Adding insult to injury, on Sept. 25, the President appeared before the United Nations, still blaming the video. The man is beyond disingenuous and is an embarrassment to the US, but evidently not to himself. But Obama defended Islam, saying “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam,” but Obama is okay with slandering and persecuting the Jesus Christ whom he professes to follow.

If politicians are truly American, why cover-up as “The truth that will set you free?” No God, no religion; no truth; no value. Has anything good ever come out of a lie, only more never-ending lies that always make matters worse and the never-ending state of denial. Evidently the populace is in denial about the source of life, like today’s know-it-alls created themselves, but the conviction of abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell will midify the outspokenness of abortionists.

Curiously, Dr. Gosnell was convicted of killing three babies born alive outside the womb despite the intended abortion procedure, exactly what then Illinois State Senator Barack Obama voted in favor of. That makes Obama just as guilty as perpetrator Gosnell because people like Obama enabled and legalized that to happen.

Obama at the time stated that since the abortion was intended to kill the baby, but the baby was alive outside the womb, it was incumbent on the attending abortionist physician to kill the baby though in the Illinois case, the baby was left on the table to die with no medical attention given to a living viable baby.

The man is brazen in his attitude toward the Creator, reflected in his Mother’s Day message. On May 10, the White House Twitter account tweeted: “Thanks to the #ACA, 1 in 3 women under 65 gained access to preventive care – like birth control – with no out-of-pocket costs. #HappyMothersDay.” Those who MOCK God do so at their own risk, seeming fearless at the time, but God has all the time in the world to accomplish his “Social Justice,” a favorite word of Liberals which will come back to bite them when least they expect it.“ IgnoramusesRus.

"Unchained Melody,” the 1955 love song made famous by the Righteous Brothers, may well be the theme song for the unborn whose link to continuing humanity has been broken as they are the “now gone unborn,” as they lament the words of their desperate love song ending with, “I need your love, I need your love, God speed your love to me!” Had there been a single broken link in our chain, we would not be here. Considering the 55 million abortions since 1973, the real savior of the country may have been aborted, making room for usurper Obama. An old saying says that “We get the government we deserve.”

The original lie in the Garden of Eden by Satan, the father of lies has proven itself: “You shall know good from evil,” and as Paul Harvey in his closing line, “And now you know … the rest of the story.” But alas, pontificating politicians have come up with the solution: Make the Ten Commandments illegal; and to think we pay them and re-elect them to give and follow this destructive divisive advice.

Another lie in the current news involves the IRS and its calculated abuse of targeted groups based on their political leanings.

“IF IRS personnel engaged in practices, and were intentionally targeting conservative groups that had Tea Party, Patriot, (or Constitution, or Bill of Rights) in their title, then that’s outrageous,” Mr. Obama said as he denied knowledge about the alleged IRS abuses until May 10, though it had been public knowledge prior to that time. An apology preceded by “IF I offended you,” or “IF you misunderstood me,” are not in fact apologies.

Obama declined to comment prematurely, “But I can tell you that if you’ve got the IRS operating in anything less than a neutral and nonpartisan way, then that is outrageous, it is contrary to our traditions, and people have to be held accountable and it’s got to be fixed. So we’ll wait and see what exactly all the details and the facts are.” Obama’s notion of accountability of wrongdoers in his administration is to reassign them out of the public eye, but they are never fired, as neither is he.
