President Barack Obama rolled up his sleeves in frustration over the failed roll-out of www.Healthcare.gov. Obama means business, and now the call to the famed “Best and Brightest.” Where were these people to begin with as the Prez always boasted about these legends in their own minds? Is there truth in the Biblical saying, “The proud shall be humbled. The humbled shall be exalted.” Or does that only happen in fiction or at the end when the best seven words one can ever hear are heard, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”



Obama assured America that he personally will see to it that this website problem of the Affordable HealthCare (ACA) is just around the corner, by the end of November to be sure, as the miracle worker is now taking the problem into his own healing hands. That would turn out to be some Thanksgiving. Whether that happens a day late and a dollar short may be irrelevant as ObamaCare may be so deeply flawed that the only way out may be the single-payer option that Obama always wanted.



ObamaCare is doomed to failure because it relies on healthy young people to sign up to support the aging more apt to be sickly. That is not happening. Other negative points are that many of the signups are by those who will pay little or no cost as they will be subsidized by Medicaid. Other anxious sign-ups are from those with serious pre-existing conditions.



More troubling for ObamaCare are the 20,000 pages of law and regulations that are already inhibiting new job growth as employers are treading gingerly. Though business profits and the Stock Market are mainly up, it it’s due to the employers labor market and the downward squeeze on business costs, but as with olive oil, each squeezing results in diminishing quality. Top line revenue growth remains static, possibly portending a coming burst of that business bubble.



Ed McMahon, sidekick and pitchman on the Johnny Carson “Tonight Show” served as an inspiration to Obama who went to the TV forum to pitch an 800 number to hawk the malfunctioning Healthcare.gov website, and sure enough that ploy did not function properly either, as often it referred inquiries back to the non-functioning website.



The most transparent one is transparent in that he is NOT transparent. As with a handful of major scandals, there is no knowledge of administration illegalities by the Prez; no admission, no accountability, no blame, no firing, but it is all the fault of Republicans that fought the issue, and partially shut down government for those critical two weeks, thereby opening the floodgates of the “Winter Of Discontent.”



Totally ignored is the possibility that this government website is the handy work of one Michelle Obama who was a close classmate of Toni-Townes Whitley, CGI Federal Senior VP, developers of the malicious software. In the trade this is often referred to as “Vapor Ware,” software not intended to be delivered as advertised, but eventually substituted with the Obama coveted single-payer health care.



Evidently, Michelle planted more than a vegetable garden in the White House, but seems to be above any scrutiny or blame, but who can blame the anointed one for that intentional oversight, as Michelle may have been part of the plan. There is a political axiom that “Nothing happens by accident but by plan.”



Whether ObamaCare actually kicks off as planned is the ultimate conundrum in that the status of health care in the US comes down to “Damned if we do, or damned if we don’t.” The same applies to the culture of the US as parents, friends, associates, and relatives are corrupted by the prevailing sub-culture that demeans family, marriage, religion, and basic morality that morphs into acceptance and rubber-stamping of a growing amoral culture.



Like with Obama’s still “pending” investigations of his administration scandals,“ Obama’s lies remain unchallenged by the MSM, particularly the oft repeated promise, "If you like your healthcare plan, you’ll be able to keep your healthcare plan. If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor.”



President Obama and Senator Reid advocate for a single-payer health care plan, but despite GOP hoopla, there is but one known written doable single-payer plan on the horizon that has a ghost of a chance to work, and that is Universal Medicare (UMC) Single-Payer Plan-to replace ObamaCare.-Three points of 3-page plan follows:



36. Institute a 3% National Sales Tax (NST) with NO exceptions for resale, charity, non-profits, religious, education, or government. The many cannot be continually supported by the diminishing few. A 3% NST may raise up to $7 Trillion annually, double the current budget, reduce national debt, spread tax burden to all residents, legal or not. Allocation: the 1st 1% toward Budget, the 2nd 1% toward Reduction of National Debt, the 3rd 1% for Universal MediCare for all legal residents.



37. Dedicate first 1% NST to Universal Medicare to automatically eliminate most State Medicaid benefit requirements, costs, and overhead. State Medicaid mandated costs are virtually eliminated, reducing State budget shortfalls and tax requirements.



38. According to a 7/6/10 analysis by attorney Lanny Davis published in The Hill, there were $755 Trillion in total transactions in the U.S. in 2008; $443 Trillion if exempting stock transactions. Accordingly NST on stock market transactions should be set at ½ of 1%, beating the International movement toward the inevitability of this type of tax. This ½% stock market transaction tax will inhibit the negative and controversial effects of High Frequency Trading (HFT) that causes artificial volatility.
