My Christmas prayer
Has always been
I see you in Heaven…
As I am sure
God, the Father’s prayer
For His son was, too
When he was sent to Earth –
His life, for ours, to be given…   To be apart
For what I’m sure seemed like a lifetime –
Much more, no one could take…
And so I pray this simple Christmas prayer
Yet, it’s the most important one
I will ever make.
