Secession is no worse than “no-fault” divorce. President Abraham Lincoln was wrong in creating the Civil War to prevent secession that cost about 640,000 casualties, the bloodiest war in American history. The population was 10% of today’s population and Lincoln’s War today could result in about six million casualties.



Never mind that Lincoln “freed” the Slaves as he issued the Emancipation Proclamation in the THIRD year of the Civil War, and then only freed Slaves in the rebelling Southern States in which he had no power to enforce. Lincoln did NOT free the Slaves in the North Union States as was in his power.



Obama has claimed to channel Lincoln who is shown by history to have acted unconstitutionally on a number of serious issues, as Obama might be quick to use force against America itself.



Talk about having your cake and eating it too; 640,000 casualties in the Civil War that had maybe 10% of today’s American population, and Americans today are apoplectic about ONLY 6.400 casualties in the Bush II wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. For Civil War reasons, Abraham Lincoln should be at the bottom of presidential rankings.



England ended slavery without civil war. England freed its slaves by buying them and setting them free, without a Civil War that continues to divide the once great UNITED States of America.



Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein collaborated to produce 1976 Academy Award winning movie “Deep Throat,” the best-selling account of their Watergate investigation of the Nixon administration botched burglary of Democratic Party headquarters. Watergate and the President Nixon cover-up centered around the rally cry, “What did he know and when did he know it.”



This refrain has not lost its significance except in the case of President Barack Obama who deflects blame with his outrageous lies, that unlike Woodward and Bernstein, media is happy to accommodate and buy into like the Gospel of the Lord, the wannabe anointed one who can do no wrong, though he is adept at it.



Lincoln might have saved the Union in vain as politicians, Lobbyist K Street, Wall Street, Big Banks, Big Business, Progressives, and especially the Military Industrial Complex (MIC) are making every effort to dismantle America from within.



America is at crossroads, what with Washington DC representing everything but the people it is supposedly beholden to. At the conclusion of his Gettysburg Address, Lincoln affirmed, “Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth,” not in the vision of President Barack Obama, House Speaker John Boehner, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, among a cast of thousands, just the tip of the un-American iceberg dominating Federal Government.



President Obama acts as judge, jury, and executioner, and is aided and abetted by all-too-willing lemmings who have abdicated their Constitutionally defined duties, setting up a de facto dictatorship that answers to no one in this once great country.



“Que Sera Sera; Whatever will be will be; The future’s not ours to see; Que Sera Sera; What will be will be.” Beautiful sentiments expressed by Doris Day in 1956, but that was then and this is now and all cannot end well. “Que Sera Sera; Whatever will be will be,” a great melody that may be the kiss of death for lethargic Congress, SCOTUS, MSM, Hoi Polloi free-loaders, and the uninformed too busy know-nothing Great Unwashed, that obviously live vicariously in the embodiment of the anointed one, Dictator Barack Obama.



No democracy has ever survived the test of time, and the U.S. is so divided that like Humpty Dumpty after falling off the wall; “All the king’s horses and all the king’s men, Couldn’t put Humpty together again.” Many a truth is hidden in fiction.



Would that under Lincoln, secession had broken up the U.S. into natural geographic components, North, South, Middle East, Mid-West, West, South West, etc., each having its own distinct character, culture, and beliefs. America is spread out across the World, as was the Roman Empire that folded when it had to pay out more than collected in taxes. One way or the other, not a question of if, but a question of when, “Comes the Revolution.”
