The Patriot Post® · O'Reilly's 'Killing Jesus': Wrong Again
Bill O'Reilly, TV host of The O'Reilly Factor, is not immune from major error, as one of his most egregious errors was his contention preceding the President G.W. Bush preemptive war, that objectors were traitors. Some traitors: those who foresaw unintended consequences of 6,000 dead Americans in Afghanistan and Iraq, double the fatalities of 9/11, $6 trillion increase in National Debt with no end in sight, along with 50,000 serious injuries, and destruction and interruption of normal family life of the volunteers. Only recently has O'Reilly admitted the Iraq War should not have been done.
Not content with his Iraq War error, O'Reilly beat his drums for war in Syria, and against the Putin grab of Crimea in the Ukraine. At least Russia did it without bloodshed and destruction, unlike what was done by Obama doing the pushing for deadly, violent, destructive overthrow in Egypt, Libya, Syria, and North Africa, while conducting random drone killing operations in Pakistan, a country the U.S. is not at war with.
Barack Obama made blustery meaningless responses to Vladimir Putin, aggression, and annexation of the Crimean Peninsula, making Obama a laughingstock among Russians, as the annexation was fait accompli while the anointed one no doubt was taking another Mulligan on one of his near daily rounds of golf. But that was a good thing for the over-burdened patriotic U.S. Military that is already stretched beyond its resources that the anointed one cut.
Bill O'Reilly, not content to stick to unnecessary preemptive wars, jumped on rewriting and reinterpreting the Bible that has been recorded and written two thousand years before the coming of Harvard poster boy Barack Obama the unbalanced one of the presidency, and the fair and balanced Bill O'Reilly of the Fox News Factor. O'Reilly co-authored three NY Times bestseller “Killing” books: Lincoln, Kennedy, and Jesus.
O'Reilly had the literary goal of setting the record straight as far as the life of Jesus is concerned. An egregious error was the assignment of the cause of the death of Jesus was, “drum roll,” TAXES. Even non-believers do not believe that outrageous conclusion.
A recent statement the “Fair and Balanced One” as opposed to the “Anointed One,” made a statement that “There were no followers at the foot of the cross” because Roman soldiers kept them away. O'Reilly on his March 25 TV program repeated his denial of the words of the dying Jesus on the cross, because all but Roman soldiers were kept a distance away, so no one would have been able to hear Him. One of O'Reilly’s other arguments was that Jesus was unable to talk while being crucified.
What does that say about truth promulgated by most Bible believing Christians that Jesus spoke to His Mother Mary and John the beloved disciple standing at the foot of the cross, as narrated in John 19: “25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus, his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalen. 26 When Jesus therefore had seen his mother and the disciple standing whom he loved, he saith to his mother, Woman, behold thy son. 27 After that, he saith to the disciple, Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own.”
Who is more believable; the original Bible as translated by hundreds or thousands of sources, or the fair and balanced one, pride of Harvard as is his fantasy nemesis, Barack Obama? Jesus Christ actually spoke seven last statements during his final hours on the cross. Some followers had to be at the foot of the Cross else these seven statements would have been lost to posterity forever. Lies are the worst indicators of failure as O'Reilly, on his tome, “Killing Jesus,” was wrong again, but not to be concerned as he still boasts he is number one on cable news. Some consolation.
Lies dominate American political culture regardless of Party, while ethics, morals, religion, the Constitution, and Bill of Rights, take a back seat. ObamaCare would be tolerable as a law if it did not include the protected genocide that is abortion and all forms of contraceptives on demand. A bad law can be changed or repealed, but murder is forever, and science proves that the baby in the womb is alive, kicking, feeling, and learning.
Science also proves the purpose of the sexes and the sexual reproductive act that is perverted by the homosexual community that is forcing their perverted ways upon America.
Which lie is more egregious, the Biblical lies of O'Reilly that could lead many out of the faith and down to eternal despair, or the sociopathic criminal lies and subsequent social and world revolutionary catastrophes touched off by Obama? That is a moot point in that both lead adherents down the primrose path of unforeseen eternal consequences.
There is no such thing as “less bad,” as the Maslar Motto should be the guideline: “Striving for the greater good is superior to settling for the lesser evil.” Survival for America depends on realization that Lucifer was the first liar as he claimed equality with God. After banishment from the domain of God, Lucifer was renamed Satan, and worked his duplicity on Adam and Eve and their progeny who without help from the Almighty, are no match for the father of lies. The problem with lies, especially political lies, is that it takes ever more lies to explain away the unexplainable. As they say in court, “Were you lying then or are you lying now? Liars cannot be trusted, but not so curiously, humans live and die by the lie.
