These are strange times when nothing is as dictated by immutable natural moral law or The Ten Commandments carved in stone. A Bible verse, as usual, is apropos: “The soul that sinneth, the same shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, and the father shall not bear the iniquity of the son: the justice of the just shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.”

The iniquity is not the responsibility of the “father” (parent) but the responsibility of the “son” (child) that commits iniquity that is “sin” against Natural Law and God. The corollary as stated in another Bible verse, “For whom the Lord loveth, he chastiseth; and he scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.”

Responsibility for actions, good or bad, do not transfer to another, but is laid with the person that sins, acts against admonitions dictated by Natural Law and/or the Commandments of the Creator. Loosely translated it is personal responsibility. It might be comparable and parallel to the motto of the 1970s TV Baretta show, “Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time,” again, associating punishment directly to the perpetrator of the crime, not to the “father” of the wrongdoer.

“Striving for the greater good is superior to settling for the lesser evil.” The lesser evil is still evil and there can be no good consequences from supporting the lesser evil because inevitably the lesser evil evolves into a greater evil ad infinitum. Given an inch, evil takes the whole nine yards and then demands more.

Rotten apples in the bin do not become better, but the good apples become rotten as well. Food processors salvage something out of rotting fruit by using the still-good portions in fruit salad, so how, if at all, might that apply to rotting children? Does anyone know?

It used to be that parents disciplined their children, but now grown children that deviate from the norm affect parents who are self-compelled to rubber-stamp deviate lifestyles of grown children, else the children will scream and holler like babies wanting their pacifier. As usual, there are unforeseen consequences, as families and friends are torn over the homosexual issues of children who expect and demand full open public approval and recognition by their elders. It used to be that parents disciplined their children, but now grown children discipline the parents.

President George H.W. Bush is a prime example as he and his wife Laura approve gay marriage, condone the lesbian lifestyle of a daughter, and signed as official witnesses of a lesbian same-sex marriage in Maine. The former first couple witnessed the private ceremony in Kennebunk between Bonnie Clement and Helen Thorgalsen.

“Crime and Punishment” is a classic novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky featuring a tortured Raskolnikov who is the epitome and prototype of human beings confronting mortality, despair, and the anxiety of choice. Dostoevsky demonstrates that crime is often serial, that one crime leads to another, while the mind is tortured and painful, anxious for the crime to be exposed, but fighting the issue all the way. If the criminal is discovered, there may be eventual punishment, but usually in lesser proportion than the terrible offenses committed.

Responsibility of the new age is shared with society that is accused of having done, or not done, something that instigated the wrong action, and the perpetrator, even when caught red-handed, dead to rights, and recorded visually, is none-the-less described by Media as the “alleged” perpetrator.

Political correctness seems designed to protect and spare the guilty, while quick to place at least partial blame on the victim that gets short shrift and unachievable justice. “The innocent will be punished” has its genesis in the Bible, and the ultimate illustration of the axiom is the Crucifixion of Jesus who had no guilt, but willingly bore the burden of the sins of all humanity.

John 3:16 is one of the most familiar verses particularly in the sports world and made famous by Quarterback Tim Tebo: “For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.” John 3:16 is contrary to the perpetrator being punished, as the Supreme Anointed One takes the fall for all.

Most significant in the culture encompassed by Obama and Liberals are undefinable “American Values,” implied acceptance of everything contrary to the Bible, particularly active homosexuality, same-sex marriage, taxpayer funded abortions, contraceptives and abortifacients. Harvard, catchall name for higher education that abhors Biblical guidelines for living and human behavior, also denies restrictions imposed by The Ten Commandments.

The Intelligentsia, Elite, and pompous overe-ducated, misinformed, and unknowledgeable, have no discernment of the distinction between good and evil. To them, everything is relative and subject to individual definition, particularly the “feel good” mentality.

Just to show ignorance displayed by extreme Liberal types is the fact that the Bible is the oldest written history of the first four-thousand years of human history. As such, it is a proven literary work and the most published book in recorded history. But the elite block this book and prohibit its use even as literature in public schools that promote Harry Potter, sorcery, witchcraft, paganism, cultism, Islam, and pornography. Meanwhile, misguided or unguided extreme Liberals seek out ancient ruins, and then patiently and foolishly dig and scrape for artifacts in the hope of finding clues as to who humans are and where humans came from, when the answer has already been found.

Not content to search ruins of previous lost generations of Earth, eyes of the fool turn to heavenly bodies as much as trillions of light-years away that may contain secrets of the source of life on planet Earth. Professors answer silly questions of pupils with a comeback: “Read the Book.” In this case, the Bible book contains more knowledge and wisdom than can be read and absorbed in ALL of human lifetimes.

Science has its foundation in the Bible that declared the earth to be a globe, described winds blowing in circular motions, rivers and streams in the oceans, moisture in the clouds, air having weight, and perhaps thousands of similar scientific tidbits that were only recently “discovered” by mad scientists, and they ought to be mad because all they had to do to discover those facts was to “read the book.” All-nighters used by students to cram for exams will not cut it, as a lifetime is not sufficient time to read, understand, and know the supreme, wisdom, knowledge, and insight contained in the Bible.

Those who think they know all the answers evidently have not read all the questions beyond name and address, and incidentally, the Bible states that everyone has an individual name given by God, “Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.” Maybe that is how the three Apostle witnesses to the Transfiguration knew it was Moses and Elijah with Jesus, by their God-given name on their breastplate, similar in concept to the ID badge used by authorized personnel.

Albert Einstein, reputed to be the most intelligent human that ever lived, profoundly stated, "The difference between the most intelligent and the least intelligent is infinitesimal compared to all the knowledge there is.“ That statement should take the winds of pride out of human sails. Humans boast of knowledge without wisdom and understanding is but a fleeting notion, as knowledge is today related to technology that changes by the minute.

The Old Testament Bible, the first four-thousand year-old history of humanity, states, "There is nothing new under the sun.” There is always something new to be gleaned from the Bible, but there is nothing new, as “[t]hat which hath been made, the same continueth: the things that shall be, have already been: and God restoreth that which is past.” Knowledge of the Bible is superior to so-called higher education that generates nothing as permanent as the true values expressed in the Bible.
