The Patriot Post® · ISIS Is a Plague on the World
Whenever there is a threat to the world in the form of an epidemic, the good people of the world usually join together to stamp it out. Why is that not happening today? The world is currently facing a threat not unlike any plague that has ever raised its ugly head. But unlike a disease that is silent and deadly, this one is very vocal, fully exposed, very deadly, and spreading rapidly. Among other names, it is perhaps best known as ISIS. It has fingerlings working under many other names that are extending into all areas of the world, including right here in the United States. It is a disease that must be stopped and the godly people of the world are sitting on their hands. The so-called leader of the free world is on vacation, playing golf. Please don’t misunderstand me by reading anything into those last two sentences. I did not mean to say or even suggest that Barack Obama is a godly man. Over the years, he has demonstrated that he is anything but a godly man.
On almost any news show, the area where ISIS is most active is reflected upon a projected map. It is usually depicted by a shaded area covering the majority of northern Iraq and extending into some neighboring countries. Obviously, we know where this scourge is concentrated at the moment. Let’s kill it in its tracks. The United States Air Force, Navy, and Marines, collectively, maintain a deadly air strike force. Many other countries have air forces that could also take part in wiping out this plague that is threatening the world. Why aren’t we doing it? The answer is simple. It would not be politically correct.
Yes, I am advocating a deadly carpet bombing campaign carried out by the free world. The only way to stop a plague is to kill it. Of course, there will be collateral damage and innocent lives will be taken. That is the cost of stopping a plague.
Many good people in Iraq, mostly Christians, are literally running for their lives. ISIS is preparing to slaughter them like a corralled herd of cattle and for no other reason than the fact that they are Christians. In their own effort to survive, these people have corralled themselves on top of a mountain and the world is doing nothing to save them. Just as ISIS is concentrated in Iraq, their prey, the Christians, is concentrated in a much smaller mountain top area within that same country. Unless the good people of the world do something about it immediately, those people are simply awaiting their demise. While the area around that mountain, particularly that area to the west and southwest of it is being carpet bombed, helicopters and any other means available could be and must be used to evacuate and save those precious lives. If such action results in an offensive by the Russians and their allies in retaliation, then so be it. We must not let this plaque continue its advance on free men and women.
I know that there are those who may read this who will say I am advocating the same or a similar type of genocide that ISIS is perpetrating on the Christians. That is wrong-headed thinking. I am advocating the survival of the fittest. I am convinced that this ISIS campaign in Iraq is being carried out by much more than a ragtag bunch of radical extremists. This is the beginning of the end. This is a glimpse of what the Book of Revelation is all about. It is inevitable. God said it was going to happen and, as I’ve said before, He keeps His promises. However, I don’t think He expects us to just sit back and let the scum of the world, Satan’s army, kill us off. He expects us to fight the good fight.
