The Patriot Post® · The War Is On. Let's Win It!
I would love to have been a fly on the wall at Central Command Headquarters, MacDill AFB, Florida, the other day when Obama made his visit. Whatever happened behind closed doors simply does not comport with what Obama told the troops and the people publicly that day when you consider what happened just a few days later when airstrikes were finally made against ISIS targets in Syria. I can only believe that one or more of our finest military men and/or women were finally able to pull his head out of his butt long enough to get him to listen to reason for a change.
We are now at war with ISIS. I am not a warmonger. I have witnessed it personally in Vietnam in 1967 and 1968, and it is not a pretty sight. However, as any of you who have read some of my previous commentaries know, I believe this is a war that has to be fought. The lives of freedom loving people all around the world are dependent upon the successful destruction of ISIS. It is a deadly plague that must be eradicated from the face of the earth.
This is a war that is also going to have to be fought on many different fronts, including right here on American soil. It is going to be a long and difficult war and we as a people must be willing to sacrifice lives and resources in order to win it. It is a war that must be fought without the influence of political correctness. Boots are going to have to be on the ground whether we like it or not, and the sooner the better. Face it, America, this is, has been, and will continue to be a world war.
There will be screams of protest across the nation and around the world, but those screams must be ignored. In fact, those who engage in such protests must be looked at as supporters of the enemy if not part of the enemy itself. Unfortunately, we have implanted far too many of those would be enemy troops within our own United States government, many in positions of leadership.
We must never lose sight of the fact that President Obama himself has consistently demonstrated an anti-American sentiment. Why else would he have campaigned for a fundamental change to America? He is also a Muslim. Oh yeah, I know, he claims to be a Christian, but he is a Muslim. Anyone who fails to recognize that fact is simply in a state of denial. Obama is also a serial liar. If lying warranted the death penalty under mankind’s written laws, he would have been executed many years ago, probably long before any of the general population ever heard of him. Those of you who have any knowledge of the Quran will know that it sanctifies lying when doing so results in the furtherance of the Islamic caliphate. Add up those facts and you can only come to one conclusion. In the context of this war we are engaged in, Obama is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Another person holding high office within the government who is and has been, in my eyes, a traitor to the United States, is John Kerry. Don’t ever forget what he did during the Vietnam War. Even today, he continues to engage in traitorous acts from his position as Secretary of State. At the very time that we engage in a war against ISIS, John Kerry attempts to mislead and deceive the gullible American citizens by arguing that the ridiculous climate change argument should be given a higher priority. I would really like to believe that John Kerry is just a stupid man who has no realization of the effects of his own stupidity, but in the real world I have to also consider the possibility that all that John Kerry says and does is done in a calculated, traitorous manner. He attempts to deflect the thoughts of rational Americans by making such callous and ridiculous remarks suggesting that although we are fighting ISIS, there are bigger fish to fry. Don’t fall for it, America. Destroying ISIS is and must be our top priority. Like everything else I say in my commentaries, that is simply my opinion, but it is Kerry’s own actions over the last fifty years or so that leads me to that opinion.
I suppose the bottom line to this commentary is that, as a nation, we have entered into a war that has to be fought and won. We must kill ISIS. An integral part of successfully fighting and winning this war will be decided by the American people on November 4, 2014, when we go to the polls. The people we elect to Congress on that day will have a profound influence on how quickly the enemy is defeated and how soon this war will be ended. We must go to our knees in prayer, acknowledge our failures as a Christian-based nation, and ask God to guide our thoughts and actions from this day forward. Do this often and on a daily basis, and especially during the next 65 days. The very last thing we should do before entering the voting booth on November 4, 2014, is to pray for clear minds and divine guidance. Our lives, the lives of our descendants, and the lives of freedom loving people around the world are dependent upon it.
