The mind that recognizes as self evident the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God is a sound mind. The mind that rejects as self evident the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God is a debased mind.
Are we a Sound or Debased society?
When a school district can refuse to acknowledge the gender of boys and girls
When an acknowledged lesbian major city mayor subpoenas the sermons, emails and other correspondence from local pastors who object to ordinances conflicting with their religious principles
When the federal government refuses to protect its citizens by enforcing immigration law, restricting entrance through its borders, prohibiting travel to visitors from countries with outbreaks of deadly disease
When former president Bill Clinton, a known philanderer, is described as a "rock star” and speaks from a podium with the words “middle class values” inscribed on it
When federal courts overturn the will of the people regarding the definition of marriage
When prime time television shows routinely promote vulgar and vile sexual practices
When taxpayer funded government officials at every level consider their primary job to determine whether or not they will “permit” what you as an individual can or cannot do
When public expressions of faith in historic Christianity are met with lawsuits, fines or humiliation
When the very history of our country is being re-written to reflect the progressive view of an economy built by theft and exploitation
When officials at the very highest level lie and target their political enemies for destruction is met by yawns and indifference
When the fundamentals of a strong society – private property rights, rule of law, marriage, faith in God, free enterprise – are constantly attacked and eroded
When the destruction of tens of millions of unborn citizens is big business and supported by a political machine intent on funneling taxpayer money for its promulgation
When hypocrisy and corruption are the primary means for political advancement
When a country’s currency is devalued to protect insane political decisions resulting in the accumulating of massive national debt
When society believes that it can become prosperous by confiscating the property of the productive and reward the indolence of the unproductive
When the historic meaning of words is corrupted and ruled over by a group of people who consider themselves superior to the masses
When evil is called good and good called evil
When we think that we will not reap what we sow…
Only a spiritual revival can restore soundness of mind, body and soul to a people who’ve become so corrupted. Pray that God, in His mercy, will take the remnant of praying people, humble us, hear our prayers and heal our land. Like a thief who can only know the severity of his behavior when brought to justice and sentenced in proportion to his crime, so only a merciful God can reveal how destructive our society has become in being unmoored from the essentials of liberty; those self-evident truths for which our founding, godly, virtuous founders pledged their lives, fortunes and sacred honor. May God raise up leaders of that calibre in our day while restoring a sound mind to We The People!
