Eleven teachers in Atlanta have been convicted for the largest cheating scandal in the nation’s history. So what does this tell us? ALL teachers are cheaters!

A Northwestern University professor violated the sexual harassment code by getting a student drunk then kissing her and groping her while she blacked out. What does this tell us? ALL university and college professors are sexual predators!

A Florida insurance agent, was found guilty of racketeering and money laundering. What does this tell us? ALL insurance agents are crooks!

Does this sound like a fair assessment of each of these professions? Isn’t it true, based on the current “Hands up, Don’t Shoot” narrative, that if one police officer commits an infraction that they are ALL guilty?

No, you say?

When we look at the Michael Brown case, we have found that witnesses lied, the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” narrative was a total fabrication, and Brown not only robbed a convenience store but threatened and grabbed the police officer’s gun. The whole narrative about “poor” Michael Brown was all lies and deception to fuel the cancer that all police officers are racists and bigots. To add insult to injury, even the president got in on the scam, calling out the police officer as the criminal and Michael Brown as innocent before the facts were even investigated. A man who dedicated his life to the police force had his career destroyed, his family threatened and their lives ruined because so called civil rights leaders, our president and the Department of Justice decided to take the opportunity to throw all police officers under the bus.

Let’s look at some statistics.

In 2012, according to the CDC, 140 blacks were killed by police. That same year 386 whites were killed by police. Between 1999 and 2011, the CDC reports that 2,151 whites were killed by cops, and 1,130 blacks were killed by cops.

Everyone today is spewing forth statistics to back up their arguments. Those statistics change depending on who is reporting on the story.

Chuck Todd of Meet the Press said, “Black men between the ages of 15 and 19 are 21 times as likely as whites to be killed by a police officer.”

His guest, Charles Ogletree, a Harvard Law professor, said the same: “The data is clear, that black boys are being killed by white police officers around the country.”

These statistics were repeated on other shows seemingly nonstop. But are the statistics true? The numbers ARE NOT accurate and they do not take into consideration the whole truth. The fact they do not make clear is that only 217 police departments, only 1.2% of all departments in the country, report on this data at all. The few departments that do report this data are predominantly in urban areas that tend to have higher concentrations of blacks. This definitely skews the facts. To get an accurate assessment we also have to look at the crime rates between whites and blacks. Based on recent FBI crime numbers, “Black male teenagers were nine times more likely to commit murder than were their white counterparts,” according to researcher John Lott.

That’s right, nine times, and the gap in these urban areas is undoubtedly even larger. After adjusting for murder rates, black male teenagers are still killed by the police 2.3 times as often as whites. This is a considerable difference — but again, over-representation of urban areas in the data set could be a big part of the explanation.

As reported by Michelle Malkin, citing the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEON):

> A total of 1,501 law-enforcement officers died in the line of duty during the past ten years, an average of one death every 58 hours, or 150 per year. These include local and state police officers, federal officers, correctional officers, and military law-enforcement officers. > > Fact: Last year, 100 law-enforcement officers were killed. On average, over the past decade, there have been 58,261 assaults against law enforcement each year, resulting in 15,658 injuries. > > Fact: New York City has lost more officers in the line of duty than any other department, with 697 deaths. Texas has lost 1,675 officers, more than any other state. > > NLEOMF released preliminary fatality statistics from August 2013 to August 2014. Total fatalities are up 14 percent, from 63 last year to 72 this year. “Five officers were killed in ambushes, which continue to be a major threat to law enforcement safety,” the group notes.

What about the facts that 83% or all blacks are killed by blacks? Does that set off any bells? Where are the civil rights leaders, President Obama and the Justice Department on these statistics? Why are we not appalled and determined to fix these issues within the inner cities?

Does any of this information change your opinion on police officers? What about the fact that the media exploits the facts to fit their agenda? What about the fact that so-called civil rights leaders exploit these statistics to fatten their wallets? Let’s look at Al Sharpton. Does anyone actually believe that he is out there for the good of race relations? Yet despite the obvious, Al Sharpton has extraordinary access to the president and his top advisers. A White House official told Politico that "there’s a trust factor with the Rev from the Oval Office on down.“ Is this really the person we would all expect to find advising the President of the United States on race relations?

Do you really believe that the destruction of our cities within the United States by protestors and looters is truly a result of police brutality or is it just a case, furthered by our so-called leaders, that one bad apple destroys the whole bushel?
