The Patriot Post® · Gun Control Is a Joke, and So Are Buzzfeed Liberals

By now, I am sure you have heard about the tragic shooting at a theater in Lafayette, Louisiana. There was a gunman who decided he was going to take three people’s lives and injure seven more by the use of a handgun. Soon after the news hit people’s ears, liberals started in on their usual, pathetic gun control push. They shamelessly started hitting the Twitter waves in the typical keyboard warrior fashion screaming for the control of firearms. Typical. The smoke from the weapon didn’t even make its way out of the theater before liberals started their usual nonsense and rhetoric. They like to paint themselves as caring, unlike mean conservatives, but the fact is they do not care. Not one bit.

According to liberals, conservatives do not care about society and public in general because they want people to have the right to choose to carry a gun with them and protect human life. Yes, you heard me right. Conservatives want citizens of this country to be able to protect themselves in time of need. They would like the victim of a violent attack to be able to stop the threat and keep it from continuing an advancement on them. Liberals, however, think that a noise from a whistle, or a phone app, yes a phone app, will be able to keep someone safe from an attack. I can’t help but think in the world of logic that whistle or app might not do as well as a firearm. That’s just silly logic kicking in, though.

Anyway, an editor at Buzzfeed, Rachel Zarrell, tweeted within minutes of the news that prayers should not be sent for the people in Lafayette, but instead to start pushing for gun control. She thinks that the government, which is all good liberals’ god, can comfort those who have suffered loss, injury or death by the shooter. Zarrell does not think that prayers of comfort to an Almighty God that can and does heal mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually are worth anything. They are no good, according to her. But if a good liberal pushes gun control and the government steps in to control firearms, these type of things will never happen. Well, I have to be honest, Rachel. You are delusional. And reactive, as you, yourself, have stated.

Liberals are responsible for allowing these deaths. They are worried that a sane person, who decides to exercise their Second Amendment right, will cause a mass shooting, which is insane. It is the policy of this theater to place a worthless, inanimate sticker on a door. Those who follow the concealed carry law of Louisiana are victims of your liberal policies. You think that this sticker will keep deranged, mentally ill people from committing these shootings? Do you really believe this? Who told you this? It clearly was not anyone with common sense or testicular fortitude. You just did not want to offend the anti-gun morons. You rather put your patrons in harm’s way, but you probably did not think this would happen. Well, it did, and YOU are to blame. I am sure you realized when you applied for a business license that you are in Louisiana, a very red state with citizens who believe in the Second Amendment because they realize the importance of self-protection. They realize the cops are not omnipresent. If you allowed people who patronize your establishment to carry as they are allowed to do per the Constitution, then this would not have been that bad. In fact, the shooter may have noticed that there may be some resistance and not gone inside. No, there would have been resistance and the results would be much different.

Before you start screaming about “more background checks this and background check that,” guess what? The background check worked. Yea. The background check in place worked in 2006 due to his domestic violence restraining order. He later was able to purchase a gun due to falling through the cracks of the criminal justice system. Whose fault is that? Is it the gun’s fault, or is it the judge who did not forward the appropriate paperwork?

Gun control is not the issue. The issue is that liberals like yourself have screamed so loud and are so angry about everything that you can find you have shamed people into your agenda for fear of offending. Your agenda sucks. It is nothing but a joke. It threatens free speech and gun rights, but the people who scream this have armed guards. I am talking about you Hollywood and politicians. Liberalism hates free speech unless it is liberals tweeting, facebooking, pushing, or emotionally twisting an agenda.

You see, liberalism influenced this man’s decision to choose this particular theater. He knew there would be no resistance due to law-abiding citizens not carrying their weapons inside, and it was caused by people like you, Rachel. It was not because of the gun. It was you and your idiotic shaming agenda. It is sickening and pathetic. Liberals use emotion, anger, crying, lies, and an absence of logic to push an agenda on people. All gun owners want to do is protect their families, themselves, and others from crazed lunatics like this, but you do not want them to. You operate off of feelings, but not logic. You operate in a world that does not exist.

Gun control will never, ever stop lunatics from getting a gun. They will always find a way to get a firearm and carry out what disgusting and insane mission they want. Period. They will not be stopped if they want to do this bad enough. What is wrong with American citizens wanting to defend themselves and others? What is morally and ethically wrong with self-defense? Will an app stop a crazed gunman? Will a whistle? No. The only equalizer is a well-trained, armed citizen who cares enough about others to take the life of an insane shooter before he causes a mass casualty.

But I cannot help to think you really don’t care because all good little libs don’t. I mean, banning marijuana, cocaine, heroine, mushrooms, LSD, meth, and steroids worked, right? It should work on guns by your logic, Rachel.
