I noticed a hashtag that was trending on my Twitter feed, as well as Facebook. It said #IStandWithAhmed. Being that curious person that I am, not to mention I really enjoy writing these commentary pieces, I decided to take a look at what the trending was about. This was really disturbing.

Recently, in Texas, there was a 14-year-old by the name of Ahmed Mohamed. He made what he called a “clock” and took it to school. The only thing about this clock was that it was in the shape of a small briefcase. When a teacher saw the item and asked what it was, he responded with only saying it was a clock. He became passive aggressive and overall uncooperative with the Irving Police Department and the school. It was later determined the item was not an explosive, and he will not be charged.

Cue the liberal progressive bleeding heart hero theme songs, everyone. The keyboard warriors have slid behind their computer and have made “I Stand With Ahmed” Facebook and Twitter accounts. We all know this is the first defense that must be made. Social media pages must go up and there must be a hashtag. This is true patriotism, apparently. Sometimes, I wonder how the world made it here before the time of these brave, honorable souls. Wow. That sends chills down my spine, or it could just be the Mexican food from last night. Regardless, the Facebook page has 8,819 likes and Twitter has 92.8K followers.

Let’s not forget about Obama. Do you remember all those tweets he sent out to those law enforcement officer families, who lost their loved ones to murder because of the Black Lives Matter movement? Do you remember all those tweets Obama sent out about the ISIS beheadings and other brutal murders? I don’t either because they never happened. But let someone make an item that looks like a briefcase, have an Islamic name, then take that item to school as a “science project” and be detained by the police and you will get Obama’s attention. You will also get an invitation from him to come to the White House. However, if you are the family of law enforcement, you are insignificant. Expendable.

I looked at the pictures of these ignorant liberal progressives on the Facebook page. They are the most clueless idiots I have ever seen in my life, especially this one guy. He stands with a round clock that has arms to read the time. He takes a selfie and posts it on the Facebook page. The background of that clock is a green triangle with an arm coming out and a sword in its hand as if the hand is swinging the sword downward. So we have a progressive doing what they do best. Looking stupid. The rage over all of this is the kid is Muslim and this guy put a picture up of a sword taking a slash like an ISIS beheading. Nice, fella. Good move. Way to support the Islamic boy with something that reminds people of ISIS. This is liberal progressives on their ‘A’ game.

So I am reading the comments under some of these pictures. These people are completely insane. They are calling this kid their “hero” for making a clock. These people are so worried about offending others it is sickening. Have the people in Irving, Texas, already forgotten about the two radical jihadist that came to a convention center to slaughter as many people as they could over a contest to draw Mohammed? The Irving Police Department, along with Divine intervention, kept the body count to the two offenders. These officers are your hero’s, not a 14-year-old boy who made a clock for a science class.

If this kid was white, Asian, or even black, you would not have heard a peep about this incident. Unfortunately, we live in a world that is so afraid of hurting someone’s feelings that Facebook pages and Twitter accounts must be made to make him feel better. It is not uncommon for school resource officers to detain kids. The fact that we need officers to work full time in public schools shows where we are as a society. This officer was doing his job. Would you rather have him not investigate what exactly was going on? You liberal progressives get so upset over something that happens every day, but only because this kid is a Muslim it is a problem. That doesn’t sound like equality or “coexistence” to me.

In typical liberal fashion, their hypocrisy shows. In April of this year, a girl in Florida was arrested for making a volcano and bringing it to school. The volcano had the capability to hold household chemicals and have a small explosion. The school officials stated they did not approve this item and due to the explosive nature, she was arrested and expelled from school. Unless you live in the area, you never knew this. She never received a tweet from Obama. She wasn’t invited to MIT. She received a harsher punishment. Mohamed was detained, then released. She was charged and expelled. There was no left outcry, even though she is black. Mohamed is Muslim, so he gets a free pass.

One question that I have is when did his parents think this was a good idea? Surely, they are not ignorant to what is happening in the world. Perhaps, this was their intention. The more that comes out about this story, the more this whole issue is looking like a left wing setup. The more that comes out about this, the less I am surprised. The left has no problem with exploiting anyone to get what they want. The fact that this was a 14-year-old Islamic kid made their progressive political salivary glands go into overdrive. They have been feeding on this story like the villagers have feasted on the harvested meat of Cecil the Lion.

This hashtag #IStandWithAhmed is nothing more than a publicity push manufactured by the left with the help of Mohamed’s dad, who has strong ties to CAIR (Council for American-Islamic Relations). We are seeing leftist propaganda being pushed by the media and there are mindless minions who feel the need to follow their bleeding hearts.

This world is scared of being called a bigot, Islamophobic, intolerant. All the typical name calling garbage must stop. We are talking about the safety and security of this country; white, black, brown, Asian, or Islamic.

The fact is radical Muslims hate America and are in this country now.

One important point. Let’s not forget about the radical Christians who refuse baking cakes and arranging flowers for ceremonies they don’t agree with. They are the real danger. They put America at risk. Those mean Christians that have values and moral are the real terrorist here.

This is Obama’s America.
