In answer to the question: Yes!, a whole bunch of us care. However, the idiots we were foolish enough to trust with our most precious possession, America, have made our land their personal possession. We pay them a handsome salary, provide a super benefits package and a handsome retirement. Wait a minute, WE didn’t do that. We let the houseboys, the house girls and the chauffeurs in Washington set their own benefits.
Our founding fathers never dreamed this would occur. They put checks and balances in place to prevent it. But, little by little, we the masters of this great land let the peons take over. We let the Fox guard the chicken coop.
The Constitution of The United States was so carefully crafted by honest men. They noted many times that crafty, stealthy, liars and cheats would commit every crime in the book if not watched carefully. Sure, we watched as they lined their pockets, their bank accounts, their investment portfolios with the Social Security Fund, the Medicare and Medicaid funds, the scams and paybacks from those to whom they awarded defense and other contracts.
With few exceptions, The Chief Executive, his lieutenant, the president of the Senate, every Senator and every Representative, every Departmental Secretary, every federal appointee and even some in key positions in our military procurement system have put their grasping claws into the money pot. They have nickeled and dimed us almost into bankruptcy.
Corruption is smothering all of us. If anyone thinks the uprising in Egypt was bad, think again. If necessary, We the People will, like the Egyptians backed by their military, erupt into a furious wave of protest. If anyone has a notion that Americans are too complacent, I suggest you read your history. Our courageous forefathers, finally fed up with a dictatorial monarch, spent over 7 years kicking his rear end out of our land.
Take notice Mr. Obama, Mr. Boehner, Mr. Biden, Mr. Holder, Mr. Roberts and especially you Mr. Reid: We are fed up with your ineptness, your arrogance, your terrible high misdemeanors and your overbearing misjudgment of your masters and mistresses who treated you much too well and far to leniently. You are due a rude awakening.
We want out country back, We want it now. The elastic of our patience is stretched to the breaking point and when it snaps, someone is going to get hurt. Wipe that smirk off your faces; you lose to a better hand.
One specific for which you, Obama, should be impeached. You are in direct violation of Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution. Read it; you are supposed to be a Constitutional Scholar.
