The Patriot Post® · Plethora v. Paucity

Depending upon what or whom you read, America has either a plethora or a paucity of Barack Obama critics. This is not always the situation with the Chief Executive of these United States. It is the contention and observation of most observers of the political scene that the left leaning media almost overwhelmingly approve of everything Obama says or does. It comes as no great surprise that the MSM appear to fawn over his every appearance and utterance.

On the other hand, conservative observers, correspondents, commentators, authors, pundits and serious journalists view Obama in a totally different light. He is viewed by them as arrogant, narcissistic, devious, disingenuous, pompous, shallow, self-serving, un-American, an interloper who is not legally qualified to hold the high office over which he presides.

After Obama’s first two years in office, his actions beg the question, “What has he actually accomplished?” As one not accredited as a serious journalist nor as a pundit, but fully accredited as an observer (at age 86 I have seen a plethora of horses’ rear ends, pompous smart alecs, pretenders, phonies, fools and all-around idiots plus some very intelligent, purposeful, best-intentioned, likeable and effective office holders, leaders and executives; enough to qualify as an astute observer).

I just set the stage for my observations of Barack Obama. He has promised much; delivered little and virtually none of his deliveries have been beneficial to main stream America. So much for the beneficial; score minus 10. Now for the detrimental. Would you prefer a narrative or a lengthy laundry list? Here are some of both.

Beginning on January 21, 2009 Obama covered his origins and subsequent activities by issuing an Executive Order effectively sealing his past. In spite of repeated demands for his live birth documentation, he hides behind so-called executive privilege. He also hides whenever there is some kind of crisis where he should at least show his face in a timely fashion, such as the Gulf Oil Spill.

As Arizona was (and is) being invaded by aliens, Obama either vacationed, played golf or just plain dithered, forcing the Governor of Arizona to sign into law SB 1070 which incorporated the language of federal law relative to illegal aliens. I could have said immigrants; however, an immigrant is legal in some fashion such as education, travel, work if he or she has a visa. Under the circumstances prevailing at the time and also currently, the Chief Executive of any state so besieged has authority under Article I, Section 10, paragraph 3 to “engage in War.”

To add insult to injury, Obama and his Attorney General, Holder, assailed SB 1070 as being unconstitutional and filed a Federal Injunction against Arizona to cease enforcement, and all the while bemoaning the fate of all those poor, homeless vagrants. Both Obama and Holder claiming to be Constitutional Scholars failed to recognize that the Federal Government is bound by Article III, Section 4 to protect each state against invasion. Of course, I suppose 10 or 11 million aliens may not be an invasion in the eyes of fools.

A further illegal act by Obama et al was to encourage foreign powers to join in the Anti-Arizona lawsuit. Apparently the President has not only the right but the duty to obfuscate an issue but to seek foreign assistance in a purely national matter.

In the most current fiasco, Obama sent Americans into harms way without any meaningful consultation with Congress unless it is considered consultation if Obama asks Nancy Pelosi and/or Harry Reid their opinions.

I ask you, is there or is there not a plethora of information (evidence) that Barack Obama is in actuality an abject failure as America’s President? If the answer is a resounding yes, then there exists a paucity of will to impeach Obama and do what America usually does best, set a good example for the rest of the world. Congress had the will when Bill Clinton dallied with a minor employee. Why not NOW when Obama is dallying with the good name of America?

This is a perfect time for the adage: No Guts, No Glory.
