Tuesday was the 237th anniversary of our United States Constitution, our rule of law. Last week, I shared with you a missive about the presidential debate which was held in Pennsylvania at the National Constitution Center. It was glaring to me, perhaps not others, that not a single mention of the Constitution was made during that 90-minute debate between two individuals seeking to take an oath to preserve, protect, and defend the venerable document that has bound this Republic. And with that backdrop, it is not a surprise that we got the news that, for the second time in two months, there was an assassination attempt against former President and Republican nominee for president, Donald Trump. No, it is not surprising to me that this is happening because there is a delusional and dangerous hypocrisy manifesting itself in our America.

Let’s go back to January 2017, the first weekend after Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 45th president. There, on a stage in Washington DC, the singer Madonna claimed that she had thoughts of blowing up the White House. Actor Johnny Depp openly asked an audience when was the last time that an actor assassinated a president. So-called comedian Kathy Griffin held a bloody severed head likeness of Donald Trump. A NYC play on Julius Caesar’s lead character was a Donald Trump likeness, who was stabbed to death…CNN’s Fareed Zakaria praised the performance. Maxine Waters took to a street corner and shouted about how leftists needed to assail members of the Trump administration and “get in their faces.”

In his inaugural address, Joe Biden gave what leftists wanted us to believe was a speech on unity. Anyone paying attention to the words and tone realized that it was a speech about conformity. Leftists still hearken back to January 6, 2021, yet say nothing about burning down neighborhoods and even a police precinct in Minneapolis. You hardly hear any progressive socialists talk about Antifa, whom Democrat Congressman Jerry Nadler referred to as a myth, or BLM. The Democrats have openly embraced the vile anti-Semitic rhetoric in support of an Islamic terrorist organization…of whom Joe Biden asserted at their DNC convention that they had a point.

Sixty days ago, leftists crowed about tamping down the rhetoric and verbiage, but they never meant that for themselves. We all knew that it would not last even a week, and it did not. They still go about speaking of MAGA extremists, Hitler and Nazis (funny since they are supporting the eradication (genocide) of the Jewish people and the Jewish State of Israel). If you believe in the Natural Rights theory of John Locke, whom Jefferson invoked in our Declaration of Independence, you are an extremist. If you believe in the Constitution, well, you’re a threat to democracy. The obvious failure to recognize America as a constitutional Republic is quite dangerous. However, it is the left who has purposefully and intentionally undermined the sovereignty of our Nation and wants illegals included in census counting and to have the ability to vote.

Just two hours before the second Trump assassination attempt, Texas Democrat Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett again disparaged MAGA as extremists. She had already expressed her desire to have former President Trump stripped of his Secret Service detail. There is a video collection of leftists calling for Trump to get punched in the face, including Joe Biden and Robert DeNiro. There is a video clip of some leftist claiming someone should put a bullet in Trump. If you continue with such rhetoric that incites violence, there will be weak, delusional minds who will answer…like the crazed Bernie Sanders supporter who drove from Illinois to DC to shoot the Republican Congressional baseball team.

But what is the continued response from the left? Simple, you brought it upon yourself, just as Chuck Schumer issued a threat to Supreme Court Justices Kavanaugh and Gorsuch. And a delusional leftist answered the call to action by seeking to kill Justice Kavanaugh, whom the left had already attempted to disparage, demean, denigrate, and destroy during his confirmation hearing.

The delusional and dangerous hypocrisy that faces America is that the progressive socialist left deems itself justified to do what leftists have always done — issue threats, coerce, intimidate, harass, and ultimately take violent action to advance their ends, totalitarian control, and dominance. Leftists in America do not see illegal immigrants, drug, human, sex, and terrorist trafficking as a danger. They do not see Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Islamic terrorists, or transnational narco-criminal terrorist organizations as the enemy.

Their real and true enemy is any and everyone who stands as their political opposition. As Barack Obama once quipped, do not take a knife to a gunfight. Imagine if any Republican or Conservative said the same. To the left, the political opposition exists to be dehumanized, broken down into a despicable existence where the only solution is its extermination…something leftist movements have been very good at doing over the centuries since Marx introduced this poison into our world.

Sadly, any hope of their reform is futile, and reconciliation seems a very distant possibility. After all, even Hillary Clinton alluded that there would only be unity if there were conformity. Ya know, that kinda sounds familiar, similar to the ultimatum that Mohammed issued to the Byzantine Emperor Heraclius circa 633 AD via letter — convert, subjugate (dhimmi status), or die. Constantinople finally fell to an invading Muslim army in 1453 and was renamed Istanbul. Leftists, just as with modern Islamic jihadists, are not interested in coexistence, regardless of the insidious bumper stickers, they demand, desire, and yearn for domination.

This is why leftists have complete and utter disdain for our Constitution, and their guiding values are ideological rights…not constitutional rights. Ergo, free speech to them means calling their political opposition any damaging, delusional, and dangerous description they deem necessary. Free speech to them means censoring their political opposition because, after all, your existence is a stench in their nostrils. They are not going to stop or tamper down the violent and inciteful rhetoric; they are not capable of doing so.

And if they are rewarded with continued control of America…that will be the greatest Pavlovian experiment that the world has ever seen. The rewarding of the most abhorrent behavior, with a delusional and dangerous belief that anything will change. Discard the guilt feelings; you are not a racist or sexist for not supporting Kamala Harris.

You are, however, Steadfast and Loyal to our Constitution for not doing so.
