If you compare the Biden/Harris administration’s treatment of Ukraine’s war against Russia and Israel’s war against an ever-expanding list of radical Islamist terrorist groups, you’ll notice one obvious difference: They want Ukraine to win.

Last month, Biden announced further financial and military support for Ukraine in a statement that concluded as follows: “Through these actions, my message is clear: The United States will provide Ukraine with the support it needs to win this war.”

Following the Israeli assassination of Yahya Sinwar — the Hamas mastermind behind the Oct. 7 massacre — Biden’s statement was noticeably different. After taking credit for Sinwar’s death in classic Biden fashion, he announced that “Hamas is no longer capable of carrying out another Oct. 7” — which is arguably untrue — while presenting Sinwar as the “insurmountable obstacle” to peace between Israelis and the Palestinians, and that he will be speaking with Israeli leaders to discuss the “pathway” for “ending this war once and for all.”

Not winning. Ending.

This juxtaposition is even more jarring when we consider Kamala Harris’ response, who argued that Sinwar’s death “gives us an opportunity to finally end the war in Gaza, and it must end such that Israel is secure, the hostages are released, the suffering in Gaza ends, and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, security, freedom and self-determination.”

When Ukraine is fighting for its survival, the goal is to win the war. When Israel is fighting for its survival, the goal is to end the war and hand statehood to a people who remain under the full control of a terrorist group.

Setting aside the ridiculous fact that Sinwar’s downfall came in spite of Kamala Harris’ demand that Israel not enter the Gazan city of Rafah — predicting that it would be a “huge mistake” because she had “studied the maps” — this refusal to explicitly call for an Israeli victory is proof that either they are too uncomfortable to do so, or — more worryingly — that they don’t want Israel to win at all.

After all, this is the same administration that carried on Barack Obama’s moronic foreign policy of placating terrorists with breakable deals and mounds of cash — including a temporary pier as a food-delivery service for Hamas — that built the foundation for the explosion of Iran-backed genocidal terror in the Middle East.

This is the same administration that has reportedly leaked classified documents on Israel’s planned strike on Iran … to Iran.

And this is the same administration whose leader — Vice President Kamala Harris — agreed that Israel is carrying out a genocide against Palestinians: an allegation that is as untrue as it is despicably offensive.

The unfortunate reality is that the Democratic Party is irreparably uncomfortable with the idea of Israel winning in its righteous and moral war against Islamic terrorism. Regardless of whether this is because Kamala Harris still thinks that a few thousand votes in Dearborn, Michigan, are up for grabs, it’s demonstrative of a moral rot that is running rampant throughout the American left.

It’s no mistake that the vast majority of Israel’s progress in the war against Islamic terrorism since Oct. 7 was made after they ignored the demands of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. And as long as Biden and Harris continue in their failure to call for the same victory for Israel that they demand for Ukraine, there’s no reason why Israel should start listening.
