When he took office two months ago, President Trump broke the shackles on our Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials. He ordered a major nationwide crackdown on illegal immigration, beginning with violent gang members who have been terrorizing¹ American citizens coast to coast.
 
To expedite the process of removing these vicious gang members, President Trump declared two of the worst illegal alien gangs, Tren de Aragua (TdA) and MS-13, to be terrorist organizations. He then invoked² the Alien Enemies Act, which authorizes the president to remove foreign nationals.
 
More than 260 illegal alien gang members were loaded onto airplanes and deported over the weekend. But some leftists evidently want these violent gang members to stay in the country.
 
The left went to a well-known leftist judge and he did not disappoint them. He actually ordered President Trump to turn the planes around³ and bring these thugs back to America. This is part of the ongoing effort to cripple Trump’s presidency.
 
Thankfully, the judge’s order was issued too late, and these animals are locked up in a maximum-security prison in El Salvador. Who is this crazy judge? He is Judge James Boasberg, currently serving on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He is an Obama appointee.
 
Judge Boasberg has a history. He presided over dozens of January 6th trials. He earned a reputation as a “hanging judge⁴” for imposing harsh sentences. Boasberg showed no mercy.
 
In fact, he was among the judges who applied corporate financial fraud and obstruction laws against the January 6th demonstrators. That absurd abuse of power was struck down by the Supreme Court⁵ in a 6-to-3 ruling.
 
So, American citizens engaged in First Amendment activity – freedom of speech and freedom of assembly – were treated like rapists and murders. Actual murderers and rapists that Trump is trying to get out of the country are ordered back in by a left-wing judge, who is treating them as if they have more rights than American citizens.
 
If you want to know why America is off the rails, there it is.
 
 
 
Rein Them In
 
There are nearly 700 federal district court judges across the country. Barack Obama and Joe Biden held the White House for 12 of the last 16 years. They appointed 72% of the federal district court judges during that 16-year span.
 
These left-wing robed radicals are routinely using nationwide restraining orders against the president of the United States. For example, Obama only faced 12 nationwide injunctions during his 8 years in office. Biden faced 14 in four years.
 
But the first Trump term saw 64 judicial injunctions⁶ issued against his agenda. And the left’s lawfare against Trump’s second term is off to a blistering start. More than 120 lawsuits have been filed against the administration, and at least 15 nationwide injunctions⁷ were issued against Trump’s orders last month alone!
 
This is an obvious tactic by the left to cripple the Trump administration and prevent you from getting what you voted for. That’s what it is all about. Democrats and their radical allies are desperate to stop President Trump from doing what he was elected to do.
 
Consider this: Republican district court appointees, generally being conservatives, respect the constitutional limitations on their role as judges. As a result, they are not judicial activists looking to legislate from the bench and radically transform America.
 
But that’s exactly what leftist judges are doing. So, we have leftist judges playing by one set of rules and conservative judges playing by another.
 
The Supreme Court must rein in these robed radicals. They can do so by making it clear that unelected individual district court judges cannot overrule the president of the United States and impose their will on the entire nation. And God forbid that the ruling is anything other than 6-to-3.
 
 
 
Really, Really Sick
 
Controlling the border and getting criminal aliens out of the country have been Donald Trump’s signature issues ever since he came down the escalator at Trump Tower, long before Joe Biden and Kamala Harris dumped at least 10 to 15 million illegal aliens into the country.
 
The willingness of the left to fall on its sword in defense of a vicious transnational gang, rather than standing with normal Americans to get these criminals out of the country, is revealing. It should disgust every American.
 
Remember that just a few days ago, Democrats refused to stand⁸ and show some respect for Angel mothers whose children were brutally murdered by criminal aliens Joe Biden brought into our country.
 
For decades, Democrats have routinely attacked the rights of American citizens – the right to free speech, the right to assemble, the right to worship freely, our Second Amendment rights, etc., etc. But, suddenly, the same Constitution that did not protect conservative Americans did protect Venezuelan gang members and pro-Hamas, antisemitic agitators⁹.
 
That tells you just how deep the sickness in the Democrat Party runs.
 
 
 
Democrats Do The Limbo
 
The Democrat Party seems to be doing the limbo these days, trying to see just how low they can go. Three new national polls show the Democrat Party is about as popular as skin fungus.
 
The latest polls from CNN and Emerson College found that just 29% of Americans had a favorable view of the Democrat Party. NBC’s latest poll found that only 27% of Americans had a positive view of the Democrat Party. Those are record low ratings¹⁰ for the party of Obama, Biden, and Harris.
 
I’m glad the polls show that Americans have such negative views of the Democrat Party. It would be really demoralizing if it were the other way around. But there is a critical point that isn’t widely understood.
 
The country has not shifted massively to the right. One explanation for the Democrats’ collapse in the polls is that they are losing dissatisfied Democrats and left-leaning independents. Why? Because they don’t believe the Democrat Party is being far-left enough.
 
I love the polls because they show Democrats have a major problem trying to figure out how to navigate this split. It has been on full display in recent days as they struggled to decide whether or not they should shut down the government.
 
Chuck Schumer ultimately decided against it. As a result, he has been forced to cancel a scheduled tour¹¹ promoting his new book on fighting antisemitism in America because he’s afraid of his radical left-wing base, which should have several chapters in his book.
 
But as I have noted before, the battle is far from over. A significant part of the country wants a far-left Democrat Party and a far-left America.
 
 
 
Turning On A Dime
 
A hallmark of the left is its ability to turn on a dime. All arguments they make are relevant only to the immediate controversy. They will change their argument and adopt the exact opposite position if that’s what they have to do to advance their agenda.
 
During the campaign, for example, Democrats repeatedly tried to kick Donald Trump off the ballot. Ultimately, the Supreme Court had to intervene, and the justices said, “You can’t take someone off the ballot who qualified to be on it.”
 
But that same year, when they were trying to kick Trump off the ballot, Democrats were going into court demanding¹² that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., remain on the ballot. If anyone tried to call them out for arguing these contradictory positions, the left would kick them out of the room.
 
When Barack Obama or Joe Biden wanted to get something through the Senate, and Republicans filibustered it, Democrats said¹³, “We have to get rid of the filibuster, a relic of Jim Crow segregation.”
 
Now, fast forward to today. Many on the left, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, are going ballistic. Now they support the filibuster and they are furious¹⁴ that Chuck Schumer and a handful of other Senate Democrats didn’t filibuster the government funding bill. And, of course, no one in the media points out these obvious contradictions.
