Earlier this month, Ayman Ghazali, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Lebanon, drove his truck into the largest synagogue in Michigan. There is no doubt that he was a raw antisemite who despised Israel. And 99 times out of 100, if you despise Israel, you despise America.
 
Just minutes before the attack, Ghazali recorded two videos that he sent to his sister in Lebanon. In one video, Ghazali told his sister that he was “at the largest gathering of Israelis in the state of Michigan” and “Allah willing, I will kill as many of them as I can.”
 
The Jews at the synagogue weren’t Israelis. They were Americans. But when Islamists say they want to “wipe Israel off the map,” they don’t just mean a piece of land called Israel. What they really mean is that they want to kill all the Jews wherever they are.
 
By the way, the “Israelis” Ghazali intended to slaughter were Jewish children at the synagogue’s kindergarten.
 
Dearborn Heights Mayor Mo Baydoun seemingly tried to excuse Ghazali’s terrorism by telling reporters that members of his family had been killed in a recent Israeli airstrike in Lebanon. So, of course, he wanted to kill Jews.
 
But the mayor left out a “minor detail.” What the mayor didn’t say is that Ghazali’s brother was a Hezbollah commander. That’s why he was killed in an Israeli airstrike. And Ghazali was, in his heart, a Hezbollah jihadist just like his brother.
 
After the conflict with Iran began, Ghazali started consuming Hezbollah speeches online as well as Iranian news, including a fatwa calling for “total jihad against the U.S. military.” Federal prosecutors say he “acted under Hezbollah’s direction and control.”
 
 
 
Stop The Stupidity
 
How do people like Ghazali come into our country and become naturalized citizens? Because of stupid immigration policies pushed by America’s globalists.
 
Before Donald Trump, Democrat and even some Republican administrations were not paying attention to who we were allowing into the country. They were literally importing hate into America by bringing waves of people from Third World countries and cultures who hate America, Christians and Jews, and despise everything we stand for.
 
Democrats love bringing those people to America because they share the Left’s hatred for Judeo-Christian civilization. And they love indoctrinating our own children so that when they graduate college, they, too, hate everything about America.
 
If we allow this stupidity to continue, we are committing national suicide.
 
 
 
We Are Winning
 
Polling on the Iran conflict, especially in the beginning, reflected widespread concerns about another endless, no-win war in the Middle East, and rightly so. No one, including Donald Trump, wants another no-win war.
 
Moreover, the distortions from the Democrats and their Big Media allies made things even worse. So much so that a CBS News poll found that 57% of Americans believed we were actually losing the conflict against Iran!
 
The latest Harvard-Harris poll completely blows that leftist narrative out of the water. This poll found that Americans overwhelmingly believe—76% to 24%—that we are winning and the radical Iranian regime is losing.
 
When asked whether they supported the strikes against Iran, the result reflected the divide in America on so many other issues. But there was still majority support—51% to 49%—for significantly degrading the Islamic regime’s ability to threaten U.S. interests in the Middle East and beyond.
 
Looking ahead to the November midterm elections, Democrats had a four-point advantage—52% to 48%. Historically, that would not translate into a significant pickup of seats. But “historically” might not matter given how corrupt Democrats are.
 
 
 
Did Europe Just Kill NATO?
 
They may have. Their lack of interest and foot-dragging in helping us take care of their problem in the Middle East may have killed the NATO alliance. Thanks to Donald Trump, America is energy independent. We don’t need the Middle East’s oil and natural gas. But our European “allies” do.
 
When the conflict with Iran broke out, some of our NATO allies not only refused to step up but they also actively hindered our efforts.
 
At first, the British government denied us permission to use strategic airbases in England and Diego Garcia. Prime Minister Starmer eventually came around after Iran started attacking British interests in the Middle East.
 
Spain is refusing to allow the U.S. Air Force to fly over its airspace. Now, Italy is refusing to allow U.S. bombers to land at bases in that country. And France won’t allow U.S. planes carrying military supplies to Israel fly through its airspace.
 
I don’t know why any American politician would feel obligated to drop everything and come to the rescue of “allies” like that.
 
Some of these countries have already made it clear that if we get into a conflict with communist China and need help keeping the Pacific open, we’re on our own. Yet they expect us to defend them and Ukraine.
 
 
 
The Speaker vs. The Senate
 
House Speaker Mike Johnson blasted his Senate colleagues Tuesday morning for leaving Washington, D.C., for a two-week recess while the Department of Homeland Security remains partially shut down. Speaker Johnson told Fox & Friends yesterday:
 
“The outrage … is because they sent us a bill that literally put the number zero in the bill for the funding of border security and Customs and Immigration Enforcement.
 
"We can’t do that. That was the biggest issue in the 2024 election. And it’s outrageous to us. Just in those two agencies, CBP and ICE, you’re talking about 98,000 hardworking Americans, self-sacrificing people who have to pay their mortgages and put food on the table. They want to zero them out? We cannot be part of that.”
 
Again, the Left’s agenda is clear—they are trying to open borders by defunding our federal immigration police!
 
 
 
Returning To Normal
 
Houston-area airports, which were mob scenes last week, are returning to normal. Wait times at George Bush Intercontinental Airport were down to 10 minutes Monday. It’s a similarly serene scene at Baltimore-Washington International Airport, where people had previously been lined up outside the terminal just trying to get in.
 
These and other airports are operating normally because Donald Trump figured out a way to pay our airport police so they would return to work.
 
But now Democrats are claiming that what President Trump did was illegal, and they are trying to get a lawsuit into the courtroom of one of their left-wing judges, who do act like kings, to strike down what Trump did.
 
So, Democrats are still trying to make life miserable for the American people and federal airport police. Yet, polling shows the public is confused over who is causing the chaos at our airports and who shut down the Department of Homeland Security.
 
 
 
A Big Win
 
Conservatives scored a big win yesterday for free speech and religious liberty!
 
The Supreme Court ruled 8 to 1 against Colorado’s law banning faith-based talk therapy on matters of gender and sexuality. Not surprisingly, the justice who can’t define what a woman is (Ketanji Brown Jackson) was the lone dissenting vote.
 
While Colorado Democrats claimed they were banning “harmful conversion therapy,” they were actually forcing Christian counselor Kaley Chiles to affirm a child’s gender delusions. That is not helpful. In fact, it is very harmful.
 
Writing for the court’s majority, Justice Neil Gorsuch declared:
 
“Colorado may regard its policy as essential to public health and safety. Certainly, censorious governments throughout history have believed the same. But the First Amendment stands as a shield against any effort to enforce orthodoxy in thought or speech in this country.
 
"It reflects instead a judgment that every American possesses an inalienable right to think and speak freely and a faith in the free marketplace of ideas as the best means for discovering truth. However well-intentioned, any law that suppresses speech based on viewpoint represents an egregious assault on both of those commitments.”
 
Following yesterday’s decision, Ms. Chiles said:
 
“Kids deserve real help affirming that their bodies are not a mistake and that they are wonderfully made. I’m grateful that my speech is protected, but I’m even more excited that families and children seeking access to counseling that respects biological reality will be able to get the help they need.”
