For the second year in a row, the Trump White House said nothing about June being “Pride Month.” The Trump Education Department is celebrating June as “Title IX Month” in honor of the historic legislation that was signed into law in June 1972. Title IX ensured women and girls had equal opportunities in education and sports.
The Left is now threatening those opportunities by letting boys cheat in girls’ sports, crushing the hopes and dreams of young women by stealing their honors and college scholarships. Thankfully, the Trump administration is fighting to restore normalcy after four years of Biden/Harris lunacy.
But just like clockwork, Kamala Harris put out a statement Monday celebrating “Pride Month.” She wrote:
“Pride is joy. Pride is courage. Pride is a celebration. And Pride is the ongoing fight to ensure every person can live as their authentic self. This month and every month, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and all those continuing the fight for equality.”
By the way, you’ll probably start hearing a lot about the so-called “Equality Act” again. If Democrats are pushing legislation with the word “equality” in the title, that means it’s a law that will take away your religious freedom.
Back in the 50s and 60s, a powerful Black civil rights movement formed to fight real injustice. They were fighting Jim Crow laws passed by Southern Democrats that enforced segregation–segregated schools, buses, restrooms, restaurants and restrictions on voting.
Nobody had to search for evidence of Black people being discriminated against. Black men and women were treated in ways that obviously violated the equal protection of the laws. Major civil rights legislation was passed to address it. Much of that legislation was driven by the Republican Party over the objections of Southern Democrats.
But what is the “continuing fight for equality” that Kamala Harris is demanding? The marriage battle was lost by a stupid Supreme Court ruling. Nobody stops anyone among the “Alphabet People” from voting on Election Day or buying a house.
What rights are they being deprived of that the rest of us have? There isn’t anything.
What Harris and other leftists are calling the “fight for equality” is a demand to teach our children about the behaviors and practices of their movement. The “equality” they want is for your child in kindergarten to be read to by drag queens. The equality they want demands that if your four-year-old son comes downstairs wearing mommy’s high heels, you’d better say, “Jimmy, I think you’re a girl. Put this dress on, too.” Or the Left will put you in jail.
Non-Negotiable
It’s obvious that Kamala Harris really wants to run for president again, and the radical LGBTQ agenda is not negotiable for Democrats. The pillars of the Democrat Party are baby killing and waging war against normalcy and the natural law of who human beings are and what a society should encourage.
Remember that the next time you hear some talking head refer to Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear or Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger as “moderates” and “just like the Democrats you grew up with.” Don’t fall for it. They are nothing like the Democrats you grew up with. As President Trump said, “These people are crazy!”
John F. Kennedy would be rolling his eyes at the idea that his party stood for baby killing and the radical LGBTQ agenda. Kennedy was once asked about population control. He replied:
“Now, on the question of limiting population: as you know, the Japanese have been doing it very vigorously, through abortion, which I think would be repugnant to all Americans.”
We went from one of the most iconic Democrat presidents in our history condemning abortion as “repugnant” to Democrats not shutting up about it and demanding taxpayers subsidize it.
The Battle of Newark
Federal immigration police have been fighting pitch battles with Antifa revolutionaries for days outside of the Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark, Jersey. So far, it appears that the Left’s effort to manufacture a violent incident to set off another summer of rioting has failed.
Democrat politicians, including Gov. Mikie Sherrill and House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries, are demanding that Delaney Hall be closed and everybody in it be released. This facility is not some new thing in Newark. It was open and operational throughout the Obama/Biden administration, and no one on the Left cared then.
What is new to Newark are the violent revolutionaries themselves. Many of the people who have been arrested for assaulting immigration police are from Portland, Oregon, or New York City. They are Antifa Marxists who were trained to cause trouble and brought to Newark to cause trouble.
One New Jersey resident was arrested for “savagely biting” an immigration police officer. He had been previously arrested for distributing child pornography. We’ve all heard the horrific stories about the number of children who were sexually trafficked into the United States across Joe Biden’s open borders. Maybe this guy was angry that his supply of children was being cut off.
A week ago, Gov. Sherrill said federal immigration police were causing all the turmoil. But they were only outside the detention center because leftists were blocking vans from entering and leaving the center.
The security situation outside Delaney Hall eventually got so bad that Gov. Sherrill was forced to call out the state police to restore order. Now, she’s declaring victory even though she stoked the unrest and allowed it to happen by initially banning the state police from assisting federal authorities.
She’s giving herself a big pat on the back for solving a problem she created!
Virtually everything you’re hearing from Democrats and the media about Delaney Hall is a lie. We’re being told some illegal aliens are staging a hunger strike over inhumane treatment and bad food. Detainees are allowed to play soccer outside, and four health inspectors examined Delaney Hall last week.
They’re eating honey buns and candy bars that they’re buying from the commissary snack store! Border Czar Tom Homan made a surprise inspection himself over the weekend and ate the same food the detainees were eating.
Maine Mess
Democrat/Communist/Nazi Graham Platner’s campaign for the Senate in Maine is a complete mess. Every day seems to bring a new scandal, and there are growing fears among Democrats that they may need a new candidate. In fact, Democrat Gov. Janet Mills is reminding everyone that her name is still on the primary ballot.
But Sunny Hostin of “The View” made a really “compelling” case for Platner on Monday. She told her audience:
“So, he’s a liar, a racist, an antisemite. He’s a homophobe… But we have someone that has almost unbridled power in the White House… the only way that we can maybe bring a bit of our democracy back is by having a Congress that functions and that has these checks and balances. And I do think one of the only ways is to win that seat in Maine.”
Talk about Trump Derangement Syndrome!
Trouble In Texas
A new poll finds James Talarico (D) is leading Ken Paxton (R) by three points in the Texas Senate race. The main reason for Talarico’s lead is because a third of the Republicans who voted for John Cornyn in the runoff say they will vote for Talarico in November.
I’m speechless—and that doesn’t happen often.
The only silver lining here is that many people are often bitter and angry after a hard-fought primary loss. But as they get closer to Election Day, those voters “come home,” meaning they return to their normal party loyalty.
But the fact that a third of people who cared enough to vote in the Republican runoff would say—even if temporarily—that they would vote for Talarico tells you there is something deeply wrong with the establishment wing of the Republican Party.
Remember Sheridan
New York residents Tom and Jessica Gorman refuse to be silent. Their daughter Sheridan was murdered in Chicago earlier this year by a criminal illegal alien who crossed Joe Biden’s open border in 2023. Her killer was in court Monday. He’s facing additional charges of possessing an illegal weapon (a shank) in prison, and the Gorman family was there.
After the hearing, Tom Gorman told reporters that they are tired of excuses and fake condolences from leftist politicians. Gorman said:
“Jose Medina is responsible for what he did to Sheridan, but he did not get to Sheridan himself. He got there through a broken system, through failed border enforcement, failed removal policies, failed local cooperation, and sanctuary policies that put ideology before safety.
"These policies did not protect Sheridan. They protected him… And Sheridan paid with her life. We are tired of excuses. We are tired of the labels. We are tired of being told to accept what no family should ever have to accept.”
Sheridan Gorman’s story has everything that defines the news. There’s drama. People are crying and hurting. “If it bleeds, it leads.” But you won’t see Tom and Jennifer Gorman on any of the Big Media outlets. The Left wants the Gormans to go down a memory hole so their names are never spoken again.
Only Fox News and other conservative outlets will elevate grieving parents whose daughter was murdered by an illegal alien Joe Biden would not kick out of the country, an illegal alien who hid in a city and state with a mayor and governor who will not kick these people out. And it’s why we have a president named Donald Trump.
So, here’s a little test. Ask your liberal friends if they know who Sheridan Gorman is. I’m willing to bet they will have no idea.
