There are days in the climate debate I feel like the Will Ferrell character in the SNL Celebrity Jeopardy skit. Here is a sample:

But it gets nuttier. WeatherBell was asked to help the crew stranded in the Antarctic sea ice with the weather, and we did. Read about it here (we never turn down people in need of help).

But this latest episode of AGW brainwashing is simply stunning: an Antarctic Ice Capades (or Ice Follies) that actually had people that thought they could witness the effects of global warming by taking a voyage to Antarctica.

Recently, when the theory that ice caps were melting was contradicted by the Southern Hemisphere breaking record highs, and a record recovery in the Northern Hemisphere led to above normal global ice, it was decided by some in the AGW crowd that an increase in sea ice is proof the globe is warming. You can’t make this stuff up. It’s like I asked Neal Cavuto on a Fox segment: “What answer don’t they own? If it snows cheese in NYC, is that global warming too?”

I am going to keep this short. I want you to look at this chart and ask yourself: What made them think they could head to Antarctica on some journey and find evidence of man-made global warming?
