Did ISIS Bomb Plane?

Intelligence information increasingly suggests that a bomb brought down Russian Metrojet Flight 9268 over the Sinai Peninsula, killing 224 people. ISIS, which is known to be operating in the area, was quick to claim responsibility.

The region is extremely popular with tourists, but the Sharm el-Sheikh airport is reportedly well-known for its lax security. It is believed that ISIS operatives smuggled a bomb on board the plane at the airport.

Both Russia and Egypt are angry about this latest disclosure. Vladimir Putin doesn’t want Russians to blame his involvement in Syria for the deadly attack. Tourism is a major industry in Egypt, and the government cannot afford to have terrorism fears frighten people away.

Ban The Blade?

Four people were stabbed during a terrible attack [Wednesday] at a California university. The assailant reportedly used a large hunting knife, with an eight to ten inch blade. Thankfully no one was killed except the attacker. But clearly we need to do something about knife violence. (Sarcasm Alert!)

The reason the attacker stabbed only four people and not 20 is that the university was wise enough to have campus policemen who were armed with guns.

No one died thanks to the heroism of construction worker Byron Price, who rushed in to stop the initial attack. According to Price, “[The attacker] had a smile on his face, he was having fun… I don’t understand. He was a student there. To make it that far into a university and throw it all away.”

Until just a few hours ago, there was a great mystery surrounding the attack. It happened early [Wednesday], yet all we were told throughout the news cycle was that the attacker was a resident of California and a student at the university.

Was there some politically correct reason that prevented us from having the information we usually get immediately after such violence? You bet!

[Thursday], authorities identified the attacker: Faisal Mohammad, 18 years old. As usual, the authorities are mystified about his motive, and the FBI has been called in to help.

I guess it didn’t occur to any of the reporters or police that a stabbing attack by a Muslim might have been inspired by the ongoing stabbing attacks by Palestinians in Israel.

Feminists Fight Back

Modern feminists have been fighting against the male-dominated world for decades. And they have made great strides for equal rights. Women are now successful CEOs of major corporations. They are routinely elected to public office. They are among the most successful media personalities.

And yet just as they are about to reach the peak of their power — potentially electing a woman to the presidency — feminists suddenly find themselves fighting against the men in their midst. The men I am referring to are those who now claim to be women.

For example, feminist icon Germaine Greer is not a fan of Bruce, I mean, Caitlyn Jenner. Greer lashed out at Glamour magazine for naming Bruce “Woman of the Year.”

Feminist educator Camille Paglia is forcefully and articulately attacking the whole transgender concept. In an interview last month she said:

“Nothing … better defines the decadence of the West to the jihadists than our toleration of open homosexuality and this transgender mania now… I think that the transgender propagandists make wildly inflated claims about the multiplicity of gender. Sex reassignment surgery … cannot in fact change anyone’s sex… Ultimately, every single cell in the human body, the DNA in that cell, remains coded for your biological birth…

"Parents are now encouraged to subject the child to procedures that I think are a form of child abuse. The hormones to slow puberty, actual surgical manipulations, etcetera. I think that this is wrong, that people should wait until they are of an informed age of consent. Parents should not be doing this to their children and I think that even in the teenage years it is too soon to be making this leap. People change, people grow, and people adapt.”
