The Patriot Post® · MSNBC Smears Southern Conservatives as White Supremacists
The mainstream media wants you to believe Mississippi Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith hates black people because she is a conservative Republican.
As I said on “Starnes Country,” it wants you to believe this good and decent woman is a flaming racist who swooned over the Confederate Army, sent her daughter to a private school to avoid being around black people, and is personally responsible for hanging nooses from trees at the state capitol.
All lies — but that does not matter to the mainstream media.
“Cindy Hyde-Smith is a racist, a white nationalist, a white supremacist, and it is a shame that white Mississippians would exonerate her in advance and excuse her for the intimidating hatred that she expresses,” Michael Eric Dyson said on MSNBC. “And God forbid that she would therefore be elected to go to the Senate of the United States to do more damage to Mississippians and America in general.”
MSNBC host Chris Matthews even suggested the use of the words “conservative values” are coded references to white supremacists.
It’s not surprising that MSNBC broadcasters get a tingle up their thigh by verbally smacking around conservative women on national television — especially conservative white women.
I don’t mean to be unpleasant or unkind, but the folks over at MSNBC are either racists, bigots, or ignorant fools — maybe all three. But that is their narrative — if you want to make America great again, you are a racist.
Remember what Don Lemon said in January? "This is CNN Tonight. I’m Don Lemon. The president of the United States is racist. A lot of us already knew that.“
Lemon wants you to believe President Trump is a racist because he’s a white man. MSNBC wants you to believe Sen. Hyde-Smith is a racist because she is a white woman.
They are literally judging Americans by the color of their skin instead of the content of their character. And they aren’t the only ones.
Hillary Clinton once called people like you and me a bunch of irredeemable deplorables. Barack Obama said we cling to our guns and our Bibles. He even called us bitter.
Well, I’d rather be a gun-toting, Bible-clinging deplorable than an intolerant, race-baiting bigot. And I say that not as a white man but as a red-blooded American.
On Tuesday, the good people of Mississippi saw through the ugly smears and attacks and voted overwhelmingly to send Sen. Hyde Smith back to Washington.
And about those nooses on the grounds of the state capitol? Well, it turns out those were strung up by a bunch of leftists, not conservatives. But you won’t see that story leading the national news.
The mainstream media owes Sen. Hyde-Smith and the entire state of Mississippi an apology for their abhorrent behavior. But that’s not going to happen. It doesn’t have the courage or the balls.
