Perhaps it’s high time we stopped pretending that there are rules governing elections. What is the point of limiting how much of his own money a candidate can spend or how much an individual or a corporation can donate to a campaign when an entire political party can attempt to bribe a large segment of the population by promising to give them reparations if elected?
They can lie and claim that these cash payments aren’t bribes, that, instead, they’re compensation for past wrongs. But how does paying people who were never slaves with money taken from people who never had slaves anything but the unfair redistribution of wealth, otherwise known as bribes?
Elizabeth Warren is now calling for reparations to be paid to homosexuals. At least unlike Cory Booker and Kamala Harris, Sen. Warren can’t be accused of trying to feather her own nest or, in her case, tepee. She is apparently heterosexual, so the worst that anyone can accuse her of is pandering to a segment of the population that is both politically active and has a lot of discretionary income at its disposal because they don’t have families to support.
So far, the Democrats are calling for payments going to blacks, so-called Native Americans and homosexuals. I know it’s still early in the campaign, but I want to know one thing: Where’s mine?

My other question relates to Cory Booker. Do you think the 50-year-old bachelor will finally come out of the closet if he was sure he’d be able to collect two reparations and maybe even triple-dip if he could prove there had been a Cherokee in the woodpile?
Margaret Sanger, Hillary Clinton’s personal idol and Adolph Hitler’s favorite eugenicist, would be so proud if she knew that her creation, Planned Parenthood, was such a rousing success 53 years after her death.
Feeling as she did about black people, she would be delighted to know that in many American cities more black babies are being aborted than being born, although she might be utterly confused to learn that the likes of Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Al Sharpton, Maxine Waters, Elijah Cummings, Sheila Jackson Lee, Hank Johnson, Jesse Jackson and Barack Obama, are all fervent supporters of the federally-endowed butcher shop.
Patrick Miano let me know that someone on YouTube posted the following message about allowing children to identify with a sex not their own: “Too young to choose a bedtime. Too young to choose what to have for dinner. Too young to choose their own clothes. Old enough to choose a gender.”
It often appears that Nancy Pelosi spends all her time fretting about the families of illegal aliens but expresses little or no concern when it comes to the American families who are being robbed, raped and murdered by illegal aliens.
What’s even scarier and more depraved than those thieves, rapists and killers, are Pelosi’s comrades-in-arms in the House and Senate who devote their time and energy to making certain illegal alien criminals are not arrested or deported.
But worse than all of them are the 60 million-odd schmucks who keep re-electing them, showing less concern about the conditions in their own country than they have with the foreign invaders.
I keep hearing from people who are afraid that, thanks mainly to a corrupt media, Donald Trump has no chance of being re-elected.
I don’t want to pretend that the likes of Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Kirstein Gillibrand, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris or Peter Buttigieg, have zero chance of being elected. After all, Hillary Clinton, who is worse than any of the current contenders, came within a hundred thousand votes of winning in 2016.
But I still contend that Trump will be re-elected. After all, Trump has seen to it through tax cuts and eliminating insane regulations that nearly every American who wants a job has a job and is being paid more to do the job than he was three years ago.
As usual, the people who don’t have a job or want a job will be voting for Bernie Sanders or whichever other crackpot Socialist gets the nomination. But they don’t represent the majority of Americans, they merely represent the base of the Democratic party.
Part of my optimism is derived from the fact that even though the mainstream media has been corrupt for a long time, the Republican candidate has won six of the last 10 presidential elections.
A lot of my fellow conservatives claim they are able to maintain cordial relations with liberals who happen to be neighbors, relatives or co-workers, by never discussing politics. I believe it because it is the only way I can get through a meal with one of the few liberals remaining in my own circle. But it does keep getting harder, mainly because to stay in sync with the crazy likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Beto O'Rourke and Ilhan Omar, they have to move further and further to the Left, just like Joe Biden.
Frankly, I don’t know how much longer I can put up with these chowderheads, no matter how far back our friendship goes. That’s because, as George Orwell once wrote: “In our age there is no such thing as ‘keeping out of politics.’ All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies, evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia.”
And when Orwell refers to “our age,” keep in mind that the man died in 1950.
Bob Hunt let me know he enjoyed my explanation regarding Jewish devotion to the Democrats. He then went on to ask if I could be equally cogent in explaining why Catholics vote for Democrats despite eight years of Barack Obama displaying his contempt for Christianity.
I confessed to having less of a handle when it comes to Catholics, but I suggested that part of it has to do with the fact that Latinos see Democrats as their saviors when it comes to open borders and welfare.
But I also suspect, as with Jews, that most Catholic gringos simply aren’t very religious. “Not as many Jews as you might think support Israel,” I wrote. “When it comes to Catholics, those in Congress know they won’t have to pay a political price for being in favor of abortions, including those taking place in the third trimester. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have seen Joe Biden, after 50 years, suddenly decide he opposes the Hyde Amendment.”
Liberals aren’t just a breed apart, they might as well be from another planet. As if it’s not bad enough that they oppose using nuclear power to light their cities and warm their homes, they hate oil and despise coal, even though we require coal to make steel and we require steel to make just about everything else.
The coal-hating propagandists have been so successful that whereas between them, the EU, Turkey, South Africa, India, the Philippines, South Korea, Japan and China, have 3,782 coal plants and are in the process of building another 1,892, for a grand total of 5,614, the U.S. has 15, and not only isn’t building any new ones, but the Ocasio-Cortez wing of the party wants to shut down those 15.
Their argument is that they want to save the planet. But when I look around at what the bozos are doing to America, my question is a simple one: Save it for what and from whom?
