I want to revisit Tuesday’s hearing before the Senate Armed Services Committee. It really was extraordinary, and should disturb us all.

The nation’s three top military leaders — Secretary of Defense Austin, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Milley and General McKenzie of Central Command — testified about the Afghanistan disaster.

All three military leaders said under oath they warned President Biden that a withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Afghanistan would be a disaster that would create a national security threat to the United States.

Biden has repeatedly claimed that his military advisers were divided over what to do, so he had to step up and make the decision. Well, there was no division or disagreement Tuesday. Austin, Milley and McKenzie all said they disagreed with Biden’s policy — the policy we all watched turn into the very disaster they warned against.

There were demands Tuesday for the White House to identify the generals who agreed with Biden. So far, they haven’t come up with any names.

Protecting the national security of the United States is the president’s primary obligation. Joe Biden has failed miserably. (We were warned.)

Biden failed to defend Americans in Afghanistan. In fact, he left them behind. He has failed to secure our borders. He is attempting to appease communist China and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Joe Biden should be impeached!

Something else happened at Tuesday’s Senate hearing that should disturb us. Gen. Milley admitted under oath that he spoke with the authors of three different books, all well-known leftists who are writing anti-Trump books.

In what world does the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff speak to people writing books while he’s still serving in office? We’ve come a long way from the days of Dwight David Eisenhower, who wrote a resignation letter the day before D-Day just in case it failed. Now that’s what honor looks like.

I continue to believe that General Milley should do the honorable thing and resign. I do not believe he has the full confidence of the brave men and women who serve under him.

Our Woke & Broke Military

Everything you’re about to read has nothing to do with our courageous soldiers in uniform. They didn’t join to become celebrities. They are patriots who want to defend our country. But there’s growing evidence that the leftist rot that has infected our culture, our colleges and the Deep State has also infected our military.

I’m glad the generals said under oath what their opinions were, but it doesn’t change the facts. Nor does it change the seriousness of other issues, like Milley’s support for critical race theory or his bizarre calls to his counterpart in communist China.

Keep in mind that this is all in the context of multiple military officers going on social media to attack Tucker Carlson, a violation of the military interfering in civilian politics. Did any of those officers get sent to the brig?

Well, Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller, who had the courage to demand accountability for the fiasco in Afghanistan, is now in the brig.

There’s the ongoing issue of military chaplains constantly being ordered to stop counseling soldiers in ways that are consistent with the teachings of their faith or being punished for not embracing the left’s latest fads.

While we’re at war with radical Islam, even though no one can say that, a counselor in the military who is Muslim was telling our troops that they were “war criminals.” He was reported numerous times, but no one in the chain of command was willing to do anything because it could have hurt their careers.

So, 14 Americans were murdered and more than 30 were injured when a follower of Al Qaeda decided to wage his jihad at Fort Hood. They were sacrificed on the altar of political correctness.

This is a sign of tremendous rot.

The left is trying to fundamentally transform America, and they’re trying to remake the American military, too. But they’re making it worse. They are turning it into a “woke military.”

At Tuesday’s hearing, Senator Marsha Blackburn ripped into Secretary of Defense Austin, Gen. Milley and Gen. McKenzie, telling them, “Maybe we’re going to remember you three as the three that broke the military.”

Biden Gets Tough

Finally, the Biden Administration has decided to get tough on the border! No, Biden’s not building the wall. He’s not getting tough on illegal aliens either. Sadly, Biden is going after our Border Patrol agents.

A whistleblower has told Rep. Jim Jordan that the Biden Administration has ordered Border Patrol to get vaccinated by November or they will be fired. Really?

Agents are already quitting because they’re overworked and have no confidence in Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas. They are spending their days catching and releasing illegal aliens — the only people that the Biden Administration won’t mandate vaccines for.

And why not? Well, according to Jen Psaki, the migrants who marched hundreds and hundreds of miles to get to our border are not intending to stay here.

You can’t make this up!

By the way, when it comes to immigration, voters prefer Trump’s policies over Biden’s by a whopping 51% to 32%.

Harris Hates On Israel

Vice President Kamala Harris addressed a group of students Tuesday at George Mason University, which is located just outside our nation’s capital in Fairfax, Virginia.

One of the students questioned Harris about America’s support for Israel, which the student insisted was committing “ethnic genocide.”

Harris had an opportunity to tell the truth and set this very confused student straight about “ethnic genocide” in the Middle East. That’s not what she did.

Instead, Harris threw the Jewish state under the bus and validated the woke student’s warped mindset by saying her question was about “the fact that your voice, your perspective, your experience, your truth, should not be suppressed.”

Yes, Harris actually used the word “truth” in response to a question about Israel committing “ethnic genocide.” That is disgusting and outrageous!

I’m still waiting for Harris to condemn Antifa for suppressing the voices and experiences of conservatives. But I’m not holding my breath.

By the way, here’s another truth you’re not likely to hear on the evening news. Even though Jews make up about two percent of the population, there were more anti-Semitic hate crimes committed against Jews in 2020 than there were hate crimes against Asians, Muslims or transgender individuals COMBINED.

Why isn’t that making national headlines?
