The Year of the Rat

America seems to be infested with rodents.

Because I haven’t been to a Chinese restaurant lately and seen one of those paper place mats, I don’t know if 2021 is the Year of the Rat. But if it isn’t, it should be. America seems to be infested with rodents, and I’m not just referring to all the illegal aliens who are making their way across our border on foot and the Afghans we are flying in by the planeload, as if we had recently discovered that what this country desperately needs is an infusion of 7th century goatherds.

If Donald Trump had any blind sports, it was naming people to head up federal departments. In fact, aside from Mike Pompeo, I can’t think of a single appointment he made that couldn’t have made by Joe Biden.

At least when he appointed Pompeo, he was recognizing his mistake in initially making Rex Tillerson his Secretary of State. But no such luck when it came to choosing a replacement for the putrid James Comey. Instead of picking someone whose mission should have been to get rid of the politically partisan members of the Agency – people like Peter Strzok, Bruce Ohr and Lisa Page – Trump selected Christopher Wray, who is simply the shorter, slightly less arrogant, version of Comey.

Most recently, Wray showed his true colors when he sent a gaggle of agents to arrest a retired Lt. Colonel, Thomas Caldwell.

Although Caldwell had served honorably in the Marines for three decades, Wray had the man dragged by his legs out of his home. Lest Caldwell or his elderly wife put up a fight, Wray sent along a SWAT team, reminding many of us of the way that Comey oversaw the dawn raid on the home of Roger Stone.

Apparently, Caldwell’s crime was that he and Mrs. Caldwell not only attended Donald Trump’s speech on January 6th, but she was seen wearing a Trump MAGA cap.

The FBI wasn’t even accusing the man of entering the Senate chambers. They knew he hadn’t. But they didn’t care. It was enough that he was in the vicinity for them to toss him in jail, where he spent 49 days in solitary confinement.

His wife told Tucker Carlson that she never expected to see her husband alive.

For those people who still retain some respect for the FBI and wish to believe that the FBI only stinks at its head, I’d suggest it’s time you woke up and smelled the rot.

To this day, I don’t recall a single FBI agent blowing the whistle on the illegal and high-handed activities of the directors.

By now, I suspect that most of you have seen or at least heard about the woman who followed Sen. Kyrsten Sinema into the ladies’ room and harangued her through the door of a bathroom stall while a cameraperson filmed the scene.

Sinema’s offense was that, along with Sen. Joe Manchin, she was refusing to vote for Biden’s $3.5 trillion piece of legislation.

It might be worth noting that the haranguer is an illegal alien.

I have always thought that people who are lucky enough to reach America would show their gratitude for winding up in a nation of laws by behaving with the appropriate decorum. Instead, we have people like George Soros, Ilhan Omar and this bathroom bully, daring us to deport them.

Which we never do because when in power, the Republicans have no guts, and when in power, the Democrats want to stay in power, and they know that all the troublemakers are potential voters.

When questioned about the bathroom incident, Joe Biden said it was inappropriate, but then, showing he didn’t want it to stop, added “It’s part of the process.”

Since when has trapping a U.S. senator in a public bathroom been part of the political process?

Even if I believed that Biden had actually received 16 million more votes than Barack Obama or Hillary. Clinton, I wonder, nine months into his first term, how many people who thought they were voting for a moderate are now suffering from buyer’s remorse.

In an honest election, I venture that a candidate who declared he was for open borders and inflationary spending; mandated vaccinations for people who didn’t want or need them; and oversaw a military evacuation that left at least a hundred Americans behind in the hands of our enemies, would be buried alive.

Another rat who has made his presence felt in 2021 is, unlike Biden, a holdover from 2020. I’m referring to the ferret-faced Anthony Fauci. Long before now, he should have had his medical degree revoked.

He is partly a partisan politician and partly a religious figure, which explains the prayer candles bearing his likeness. In far too many quarters, his word when it comes to Covid is considered gospel. And that’s in spite of his changing his opinion more often than he changes his underwear.

In his most recent pronouncement, Fauci declared that in spite of Homeland Security director Alejandro Mayorkas admitting that at least 20% of the illegal aliens that have been allowed to enter the U.S. suffering from Covid or some other contagious disease, the trespassers have no effect on the Covid rate of infection.

If the Washington Post wasn’t in the business of telling lies itself, they would have awarded the evil Munchkin four Pinocchio’s for that whopper.

In the world of academia, my alma mater, UCLA, earned itself a black eye by suspending law professor Gordon Klein when he refused to grade black students more leniently than whites and Asians.

While the number of students has remained fairly constant over the past couple of decades, what has increased at an alarming rate has been the number of administrators overseeing our colleges and universities and the cost of tuition to pay these wonky wimps their inflated salaries and pensions.

I heard someone spill the beans about Trump’s unfinished wall at the border. He told Tucker Carlson that it is costing $5 million a day not to build the wall. He didn’t explain how the money is being spent. Perhaps it goes to guarding all the unused panels that are lying around or perhaps it’s making sure that the Mexicans don’t steal the materials that were used to build the first few hundred miles.

I have no proof that we are wasting $35million a week, but I have stopped saying “I don’t believe it” when I hear about all the outrageous things that are taking place in Joe Biden’s America.

I got a chuckle out of an NBC reporter interviewing first time NASCAR champion Brandon Brown at Alabama’s Talladega Superspeedway pretending that a crowd chanting “F–k Joe Biden” was actually chanting “Let’s go, Brandon.”

It used to be that those on the Left didn’t want us to believe what we could see with our own eyes, most recently that the evacuation from Afghanistan was a rousing success. But now they are trying to convince us that we also cannot believe our ears.

By now, even Helen Keller wouldn’t believe these partisan clowns.

I was discussing Barack Obama with a friend recently, musing on the fact that nobody who attended Columbia during the years he was allegedly in attendance remembers the black dude with the bat ears.

It led me to observe that Barack Obama has more secrets than Victoria.
