Although I would prefer it if Donald Trump never again referred to the election that was stolen from him, it’s only because I think it makes him sound a crybaby and could cost him votes among Independents in 2024, not because I don’t agree with him.

Jonathan Karl, author of “Betrayal,” currently on the best seller list, claims that the reason a great many Republicans believe the election was stolen in 2020 was because when they went to sleep, Trump had big leads in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan and a few other states, but when they woke up the next morning, those leads had vanished.

Perhaps that was the case for others, but here on the west coast, that wasn’t my experience. So that isn’t the reason I distrusted the results then, now and forever.

For one thing, I fully expected cheating to take place once the Democrats used Covid as an excuse to mail out tens of millions of unsolicited ballots; I simply didn’t grasp the extent of the cheating that would result from this outrage.

But the clincher for me were the final numbers. They were so absurd that it has amazed me that even Trump has never referred to them, instead focusing his attention on the vote count in specific states, mainly Pennsylvania and Arizona.

Although I know that a lot of people get rattled by large numbers, please bear with me and all, I trust, will be clear.

For our purposes, I’m ignoring votes that went to third and fourth party candidates, cast by idiots who are convinced they’re sending a message, although what that message is, aside from their being idiots, I can’t imagine.

Moving on, in the 2008 presidential election, 129,446,839 total votes were cast, with Barack Obama receiving 69,498,516 of them; John McCain, 59,948.323.

In 2012, 126,849,299 votes were cast, with Obama receiving 65,915,795 of them; Mitt Romney, 60,933,504.

In 2016, 128,838,342 votes cast, with Hillary Clinton garnering 65,853,514 of them; Donald Trump, 62,984,828. (Which conclusively proved the wisdom of the Founding Fathers in creating the Electoral College.)

As you’ll notice, in spite of featuring the first black candidate and the first female candidate, the total votes cast in the three presidential elections were very similar, all between 126 million and 129 million. However, in 2020, in a typical election that pitted one white man against another, we found the total votes cast soaring into the stratosphere (155,485,078) with Biden collecting a record 81,268,924 and Trump setting a record for a losing candidate with 74,216,154.

Breaking down the results, we find that the allegedly despised president received 11,231,326 more votes than he had four years earlier.

That his where the cheaters misplayed their hand. If they wanted to prove that people didn’t necessarily vote for Biden, but against Trump, which would have gone along with the narrative they were pushing, they should have figured out a way for Biden to defeat Trump by say five million votes, 64,000,000 to 59,000,000, a result more in keeping with those earlier elections.

But we’re supposed to believe that Biden, an old guy who campaigned from his basement, received about 16 million more votes than Obama and Mrs. Clinton, or that Trump could have received more votes than any other presidential candidate in history… and still lost?

One of the casualties over the past few years has been comedy. It has been sacrificed on the altar of wokeness. Instead of ridiculing men who claim to be women and women who claim to be men, and making fun of their insistence on being called by made-up pronouns, we are now expected to respect them and their silly demands.

For my part, I think that people like Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel should be called out for identifying themselves as comedians on their tax returns. They are simply megaphones for whatever tripe the Democrats are selling this week. They no longer see the need to be amusing. Instead, like reporters and teachers, they are convinced it’s their mission to indoctrinate.

This betrayal of comedy is dealt with in an article sent to me by my old friend Dr. Harry Maller.

Written by David Zucker, one of the people responsible for the hilarious “Airplane!” “Police Squad” and “Naked Gun,” he bemoans the fact that he, his brother Jerry and their friend, Jim Abrahams, would never be able to get those projects off the ground these days, unless they removed all the jokes.

As he writes: “Jokes are my defense against normalcy, and as a comedy writer, if I’m not teetering on the edge of offending someone, then I’m not doing my job.”

Zucker confesses to being an “equal-opportunity offender and usually nothing is off-limits, even my daughter Sarah. About five years ago, when she was 13, I was driving her and three of her girlfriends back from the mall as they whispered about boys and giggled in the back seat, oblivious to the fact that I was right there, hearing every word. I finally had enough. ‘Let me tell you something about boys,’ I interrupted. They fell silent, listening for the words of wisdom. ‘Boys are only interested in your brains. You have to remind them that you have a body, too.’ They giggled all the way home.”

I know there are some who would question Zucker’s parenting skills, but I’m guessing his kids are far likelier to share their various concerns with him than those other three girls would be with their parents.

It must irk the Biden regime no end that the folks least likely to sign up for the mandated vaccines are black people. Otherwise, they would feel free to smear Conservatives and Evangelicals with impunity. That doesn’t prevent them from calling reluctant whites Neanderthals and insisting that we’re mouth breathers who simply refuse to accept the science; it just means that they have to use a different approach when trying to coerce black people to climb aboard the Fauci Express.

While delving into the subject, I discovered that in the late 30s and early 40s, the racist eugenicist, Margaret Sanger, who dreamed up Planned Parenthood as a way to eliminate black people, would often hire black ministers to help her promote easily accessible abortions.

And ever since, whenever a Democrat is running for office, he or she will pay off black ministers for the use of their podiums, and nobody ever hollers about the separation of church and state.

At times, you have to wonder who dreamed up the Communist agenda being foisted on us by the likes of Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, A O-C, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters and Elizabeth Warren. According to Roberta Sutton of Evergreen, Colorado, it can be traced back to the Soviet Union.

In a letter to the editor of The New American, Ms. Sutton writes: “In 1958, Cleon Skousen, an FBI agent at the time, wrote a book called "The Naked Communist.” Toward the end of the book, he includes a list of 45 Communist goals that the FBI uncovered. These goals were read into the Congressional Record in 1963. The object was to destroy our culture so it would collapse from within. I will quote a few of them:

“#17) Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Gain control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

”#23) Control art critics and directors of art museums. Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.

“#24) Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them ‘censorship’ and a violation of free speech and a free press.

”#27) Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with ‘social’ religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a ‘religious crutch.’

“#29) Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, and out of step with modern needs.”

To show you how successful the campaign has been, these days, the FBI has stopped investigating Communism and is now actively promoting it.

For three years, the Democrats never stopped accusing President Trump of colluding with Russia. They even insisted that he owed his 2016 victory to the intervention of Vladimir Putin. It took Bryan Nielsen to remind me that it was Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton who were so deeply invested in Russia that their sweat smelled an awful lot like vodka.

As Secretary of State, it was Mrs. Clinton who pressed the reset button with her Russian counterpart. And as a presidential candidate, it was Clinton and the DNC who paid Christopher Steele millions of dollars to concoct the phony Russian dossier the Democrats used as an excuse to file impeachment charges against Trump.

As for Obama, we can all recall that during an embarrassing open mic moment in 2012, he asked the outgoing president of Russia , Dmitry Medvedev to tell Putin that he would be more flexible after the coming election.

And, sure enough, about a year later, after Obama was re-elected, Putin annexed Crimea and Obama never even said “Boo.”

Bob Hunt passed along two memes, only one of which I can actually authenticate. I’ll leave it to you to figure out which is which.

It seems Levi Strauss and Best Buy have offered counseling to employees emotionally distressed over Kyle Rittenhouse’s acquittal, including sessions with someone calling himself a racial trauma specialist.

The second shows a photo of the Vice President, with the caption “What’s next? Santa can’t say ho-ho-ho because it’ll offend Kamala Harris?”
