Another observation is the complete lack of tact, good manners, or "class" to represent our country. Why would the first lady wear a sleeveless, backless, dress to an important dinner, event when the main guests were from were the prime minister from India and his wife. This is just one more way that this administration embarrasses our country. That was purely tasteless. On top of that, his wonderful speech Tuesday night about evaluating extensively the increase of troops to Afganistan in support of our military and our generals there. That was a decision that should have been made days after meeting with General McChrystal and it was also an embarrassment that the General had to fly to the Olympic committee meetings to meet for 45 minutes with the president about a matter of international security, not an olympic bid. The Obama's are spending more money jet setting and traveling than any administration ever. Mr. Obama needs to step up to his first job and understand that the "boss" or leader of any company or country has to be there to do the job, not go raise money for other dems, or go to an olympic meeting, even taking two jets to get there and fly back on one, again costing the United States more needless expense. I've always been raised that you support our govenment, our country, and everything about it. The Obama's make the Clinton's look like saints.

In the meantime, for the sake of our nation and our posterity, we should pray for Barack Obama -- perhaps something along the lines of Psalm 109:8, "May his days be few; may another take his office!"

First, when you consider that verse in its context, are you seriously advocating prayer that his daughters become destitute orphans, and that Michelle become a destitue widow? While I realize that some simply intend the "prayer" to be a joke, I don't think using the Scripture as a political joke to be very funny. Second, if the prayer of Psalm 109:8 were to be answered in the affirmative in Obama's case, that would elevate the dumbest man to ever serve in the Senate to the office of President, and would at least temporarily make Nancy Pelosi one heartbeat away from the Presidency. That alone should cause any sensible rational adult to run screaming from the room, shouting "LORD, may it NEVER be!"

When quoting Scripture, please be careful. Seen in context - could backfire on those who use God's Holy Word as a punchline.

There may be more to this gate gate than has been reported. Leaving myself wide open to the charge of being a conspiracy nut, a racist and an Islamophobe to boot, I wonder about the following.

One of the first acts of this maladministration was to pony up the bucks, my bucks, (millions of them) to move a bunch of Palestinians to the States. It is certainly possible, given this President's history in office, that these were all SOA's, Al Qaida trained and A-stan battle hardened. If not all, then most of them. Who did the vetting of these invitees? The gate crasher, assisted and advised by CAIR? Are they dispersed across the country or concentrated in DC? Will they form the nucleus of the new palace guard?

So this gate crasher is on the Palestinian task group? What is the function of that group? Who else is one it? I have not heard of this one before. And his interference was run by a black female soldier stationed in the Pentagon? Who assigned her to babysit these people and spend her time, paid for by thee and me, on getting these people into the dinner? Is she a Muslim?

If I am paranoid, it does not mean that our country does not have enemies. Our history over the past 4 years, yes, at least four years, does not indicate that we are getting realistic leadership from the civilian or military politicians.

Please not. His days should be around 1460 and not one day more. I hope that in 2013 another will take his place! Paul, in Romans, teaches us that those in authority are placed there by God. Seriously, we are called to pray for the president according to 1 Tim. 2:2. My prayer for the president is that he will have a radical encounter with Christ, that he will know the truth and the truth will set him free.

I went through the list and unless I missed it, there was not one military person representing the armed forces, the " Commander and Chief's " distain for the military is so transparent. Maybe that is what he meant by his administrations' claim of always demonstrating transparency.

The Old Testament records that God had no problem using pagan kings in the ancient past. I can't believe the amount of people who use Christ as a "weapon" to try to preach against Obama. I did not vote for this man, nor do I agree with 90% of what he does. I do however believe in America, the Lord and the clearly flawed system we call our government. I find it reprehensible that people are using the Bible to call for the assassination of the President of the United States.I also find it sad that we don't also hold up the previous administration to the same impossible standards that we apparently are holding this one to. This is why I've left the Republican Party, and will now call myself "independent" from now on. BOTH parties are more interested in creating their own power base than they are interested in voting the way their constituents elected them to.

As Mark Alexander noted, we should pray for our president and other leaders. I suggest another scripture as well, 2 Thessalonians 3:2 "And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil (and unreasonable) men". {NIV & KJV}
