The Cause of Liberty
· Thursday, November 4, 2010
"Let us therefore rely upon the goodness of the Cause, and the aid of the supreme Being, in whose hands Victory is, to animate and encourage us to great and noble Actions. The Eyes of all our Countrymen are now upon us, and we shall have their blessings, and praises, if happily we are the instruments of saving them from the tyranny mediated against them." --George Washington
2012 Battle PlanHaving taken a moment to account for the considerable battleground gained in the most significant political offensive between Liberty and tyranny in three decades -- the fight being led by the Tea Party movement against the institution of statism headed by Barack Hussein Obama and his Socialist Bourgeoisie -- we must now press on, as there is no time for rest.
The ranks of conservatives in our national Congress, and in our state executive and legislative branches across the nation, were greatly strengthened in Tuesday's midterm election. The historic gains in the House were national news, but the GOP has gained control of more state legislatures than since 1928. Sixteen states are now completely in GOP hands.
But those gains were just the beginning of a movement to restore Liberty. We have a long way to go to undo the damage done by the Left, and GOP moderates.
Thomas Jefferson wrote, "Excessive taxation ... will carry reason and reflection to every man's door, and particularly in the hour of election."
Indeed, taxation was a factor in the seating of House and Senate conservatives, but as was the case with the original Tea Party in December of 1773, these victories were driven by a renewed concern for not just taxation, but taxation without representation.
The new Tea Party movement is much more than a coalition of fiscally conservative Independents and those still under the banner of the Republican Party. This movement is, at its foundation, a philosophical federation of American Patriots who are, first and foremost, bound together by a devotion to the Essential Liberty defined in our Declaration of Independence and the Rule of Law enshrined in our Constitution.
The renewal of this timeless battle between Liberty and tyranny has reanimated the political contests of our era, yet the conventional spin from pundits and news-cycle talkingheads indicates that they have yet to realize that there is much more than "a political pendulum swing" afoot with the legions of American Patriots who now identify with the organic Tea Party movement.
Of course, Obama and his Leftist cadres can't comprehend it either. He insists, "The reason that our politics seems so tough right now, and facts and science and argument do not seem to be winning the day all the time, is because we're hard-wired not to always think clearly when we're scared. And the country is scared." He says further that those who do not support statism have an inability to "think clearly," and that his detractors' "basic political strategy has been to count on you having amnesia." And he concludes, "Leadership isn't just legislation ... it's a matter of persuading people. Making an argument that people can understand."
May Obama and his ilk continue to cling to those delusions...but the fact is, his endeavor to "fundamentally transform America" has been derailed not because of a "failure to communicate," but because he succeeded in communicating. However, there is still plenty of damage the lame Demos can do in the next two months.
Likewise, there are some so-called "moderate" House and Senate Republicans who are nearly as delusional -- those who think they'll be able to return to "business as usual" with a restored Republican majority. If they try to do just that, they'll face the same formidable challenge Democrats now face, because the ranks of conservatives in the House and Senate have been refortified with outspoken constitutional constructionists like Allen West, Rand Paul, Pat Toomey, Marco Rubio and dozens of others. Some of these Patriots unseated Democrats who had held office for decades, and others tossed Republican moderates onto the trash heap of mediocrity.
Establishment Republicans in the GOP are poised to declare "Mission Accomplished" and insist that the "New and Improved GOP" will hold to its stated principles this time around. Patriots won't adopt a "wait and see" strategy, however. Establishment Republicans had their opportunity when they held both the House and Senate under George W. Bush -- and they failed miserably. Instead, we'll insist that they revitalize the Reagan Model for Restoration now.
The re-energized movement for Liberty demands that our elected representatives, regardless of their political affiliation, act in accordance with their sacred oaths to "Support and Defend" our Constitution, and that they reduce the bloated size, function and cost of the central government to comport with its limited constitutional mandate and limited authority.
In the 2012 election and those which follow, we will root up and toss out Democrats and Republicans who fail to honor their oaths. There can be no doubt, though, that Obama and his party will do everything in their power to prevent the decentralization of the Socialist regime they have created.
Beyond these entrenched threats posed by the adversaries of Liberty, there exist other more subtle dangers to the Tea Party movement.
The most significant hazard is the natural tendency by well-meaning Patriots to contain the movement, to bottle it up, to organize it under one umbrella, which would erode its grassroots strength and render it subject to the same corruption that organized political parties now embody.
To keep the Tea Party movement true to its roots, we must avoid centralization and continue to strengthen every individual link in the chain. The strength of that chain is a unified understanding and articulation of what is at stake: the contest between Rule of Law and rule of men.
To that end, The Patriot Post, since its inception, has been plowing the fields and sowing the seed for this Great Awakening, and we have a vital and essential role to ensure that the movement remains, first and foremost, about the restoration of constitutional integrity, and to support its momentum.
We have much more ground to take if we are to restore the cause of Liberty, and we need your help. For we can only restore constitutional Rule of Law if our growing tide of conservative voices makes it so. We cannot undo generations of civic negligence in one or two election cycles, but we can -- no, we must -- halt our nation's downward spiral toward the tyranny of Democratic Socialism.
Among the character traits that distinguish you, as a Patriot Post reader, from too many other Americans is the mission you share with other Patriot readers who are, in the words of Samuel Adams, "keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."
I thank you for your vigilance, strength, preparedness and faithfulness.
We rely upon your generosity to help us maintain the clarion call for Liberty for countless thousands of our military, collegiate, political and mission field readers -- all of whom are vital links in the chain to hold back tyranny and restore Liberty.

Thank God for putting my random and often angry thoughts into a wonderfully written letter, Mr. Alexander.
I live in a red state but sometimes even here we have to get offended by Marxism in the capital. I have lived almost 70 years and never in my life felt such fear for the country I love and served as a Viet Nam era vet.
Thank you.

The biggest immediate threat today is The Federal Reserve printing more money. Benenki plans to print up 600 billion toilet paper dollars.
The Fed Reserve is out of control. Diluting our currency can not be a good thing in any way. It has never been for any nation.
We need to replace the Board Members with the Governors of each state. They can change the money supply or interest rates with a 2/3 vote. We need monetary stability. Give control of the money supply back to the states.

Bill
Printing more money is the biggest form of taxation. The treasury prints up bonds and sells them to the Fed Reserve for new money. This increased money supply decreases the buying power of the already existing money.

Sir, again I must take you to task. While I agree that President Reagan was the best this country has seen in a great many years, I do NOT wish to return to the policies of 25 years ago. For all the radical right-wing slurs cast by the left on President Reagan, he would have been considered a moderate in the 1950's, a liberal in the 1920's, and a flaming lunatic in 1802. We must, if we wish to survive, return to the policies of 225 years ago and reduce this gargantuan government to a mere sliver of its current insanity. The people of this federation deserve no less than the liberty defined by our Constitution and paid for by the blood of patriots it spawned.

Here is my own message to Republicans after the midterm election:
To All Republican Office Holders:
November 3, 2010
Congratulations on your outstanding victory at the polls last evening, Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Even though you were unable to establish a much needed majority in the Senate, you were able to make significant gains in that arena and hopefully send an important message to your Democrat cohorts. After a brief time of well deserved celebration, there are just a few things I would ask you to remember and seriously contemplate in the coming days.
First and foremost, you did not win this hard-fought contest because you were the better team, scoring the most points, completing the most passes, wracking up the most yardage, or being the nicest guy with the heart of a champion. You won because the other team insisted on running the wrong way, callously ignoring the plays being called from the side lines, and consistently carrying the ball for you into their own end-zone, putting numbers on the scoreboard that benefitted you. They mostly defeated themselves and because you were the only other team on the field, you wound up with the win.
Secondly, you were not really alone on that playing field. You may not have completely realized it yet, but the second string waiting patiently on the bench is made up largely of committed, pre-conditioned players, with loyalties to a new, ever growing team, hungry for engagement that could threaten your viability. Oh yes, you have allowed a few to be run in as subs, here and there, wearing your logo and carrying the ball under your banner, but you also have been guilty of arrogantly sidelining far too many of them. May I warn you, that if this continues, you could be doing so at your own peril? I’m thinking it would not take much to field a new team that could quite possibly suck the wind right out of your offense and your defense, sending your over-confident to the bench and your stodgy, too-long-in-the-tooth to the showers.
Yesterday’s election was most definitely a referendum on the direction this country is being taken in but it was more than that. We, the people, the voters, the over-taxed payers, are not happy with YOU, not just the Democrats. The situation we are in did not happen just since Obama was sworn in, although it has gotten much worse since then. Nor did it happen just since the Democrats regained power. It has been slowly building to a full rolling boil on your watch as well. YOU have done little to nothing to stop this massive government takeover of everything that touches the lives of every American citizen. YOU have succumbed to the lure of “the siren’s song” that anesthetizes your brain and causes you to dream dreams of self-fulfillment and have visions of grandeur. YOU have allowed yourself to believe your own hype and behave just like the spoiled “rock stars” you have come to believe you are. YOU have found a way to make secure the life style you have become accustomed to at the debilitating expense of those who were foolish enough to grant you the opportunity to have the job you have. YOU have misused your power and your privilege far too long, and what’s worse, you seem to think you are entitled to do so.
Things are somewhat different now. Some of us have awakened. The second string waiting patiently on the bench will not be patient much longer. There are things that must be done and we will not be happy with delays and excuses. We have been willing to collaborate and assist you in your victory and now we want ours. We are willing to play wearing your jersey as long as that logo represents our values and reinstates the true authority of our Constitution. Anything less would be meaningless.
It has long been said, “To the victor goes the spoils”; how much better it would be to actively pursue…”To the victor goes the responsibility of restoring the ‘spoils’ to those to whom they belong in the first place.”
Once again, congratulations, God speed, and remember we are still here, watching, taking notes, and planning for the next game! We have only just begun!

"While Obama was clearly humbled by Tuesday's devastating setback, he still struck a defiant tone at a White House press conference Wednesday."
"No one party will be able to dictate where we go from here," he said in a clear warning to Republicans that he won't simply bow to their demands for a sharply conservative switch in economic policy." Fox News.Com
As usual, Mr. Obama, the supreme narcissist, is flawed in his anomalous cognitive distortions and pathological schemas. No Mr. Obama, it is not "one party" that is dictating where we go, it is the AMERICAN PEOPLE demanding you step away from Socialism, Tyrannical and Oppressive Government oversight, Maoist Economic Policies, and your un-American autocratic policies.
He still doesn’t get who is in charge. Let me remind you; it is the American people who are in charge.
Heed the American people's warning Mr. Obama or you and your Socialist party will face even greater defeat in 2012!
Indeed, it may instead be a blessing for America that Obama, Reid, Pelosi, et al. will continue their arrogant push. Because of their pathological nature and thought processes, they cannot change who they are; and that is something we should be thankful for. They will only succeed in pushing their party out of future existence and rendering it powerless in the coming years. I and I am sure millions of freedom loving, capitalist, constitutional Americans welcome that with the widest of open arms.
What a celebrated week this has been, and what a glorious future Obama’s stubbornness promises for the Constitutional Conservatives and Tea Party movement. I suppose we should instead be thanking Mr. Obama for Tuesday and our brighter future!
As Michelle Obama once said, "I am again proud to be an American."

One thing many people never consider is that we need to stop GIVING THE LEFT THE MONEY TO DESTROY US!!!
It is time we started boycotting Hollywood and any Corporations and businesses that support these Unconstitutional attacks on our Country. Yes, this is a WAR for our country and it is necessary to FIGHT like our LIVES depend on it!!! Continuing to give our enemies the wherewithal to destroy us is ridiculous.
We did not win WWI or WWII or any other war by sending the enemy money, weapons, and personnel to kill us.

I think it should be pretty clear by now what Obama represents to the world. He espouses a radical change in the balance of world power. This change will include a world government utilizing the UN as the instrument of authority. This is why our borders are not important to Obama and his administration. His purpose generally involves the elimination of a principle religion and other traditional national unifying elements. Our traditional ingrained resistance to Communism, Nazism, Socialism, Despotism, and other threats to our sovereignty are tendencies which our current government intends to remove from our national psyche. This is being accomplished through the educational system and the media. Naturally, the other (less successful) nations are generally eager to support Obama's intentions for America. I admit, we do have friends in other countries, but not necessarily among the most powerful governments. I think Obama is sincere in his belief that this course is the best plan for America.
Personally, I am appalled by these developments. The fact that so much progress has already been made toward the "unamericanization" of America, suggests to me that too many Americans have gotten out of touch with our own historical necessity in a dangerous world. I submit that we cannot preserve ourselves and our values simply by being buddies with the world. Yesterday's election represents an affirmation of the thinking ability of our citizens but the mere reinstitution of Republican members will not solve this problem. Our people still seem to still be missing major points made in circa; 1776. If you disagree with my opinion, I would welcome your (non emotional) argument. I am hopeful that we all can learn from each other and grow as a people.

My definition of the GOP is Guys/Gals On Probation. Many of the core progressive wing of the GOP don't believe in a smaller government and lower taxation/ regulation. They failed to support Tea Party winners of the Republican primaries and blame Sen Jim DeMint for the losses in these elections. Let us hold their progressive feet to the fire from now on. We need to stop runaway spending and earmarks by both parties.

WE have heard Reid, Durbin and Shumer’s ultimatum, issued in the wake of the extremely unfortunate extension of their political careers, that GOP senators cooperate and compromise or be presented to the public as the Party of “NO”.
BE advised that this election was our direct rebuke of all democrat policies – our collective “NO” – to corporate bailouts, higher taxes, forced purchase of government healthcare, abandonment of American citizens and soil to armed Mexican gangs, subjugation of American sovereignty to UN agendas, amnesty for illegal aliens, deficit spending, a welfare state economy, the continued Marxist nationalization of our means of production, and to totalitarian government.
WE recognize these policies for what they are, communism, to be enacted by “czars” appointed to power completely outside our Constitutional government, and intended to be increasingly enforced against our will with the ruthlessness of a fascist dictatorship.
BE advised that we consider enactment of these policies as aiding and abetting our enemies and waging direct warfare against our citizen – acts which constitute treason against the United States of America.
BE advised that we not only expect – we demand – that loyal Americans everywhere not only oppose but actively put an end to these anti-Constitutional, treasonous acts that are designed but for the one purpose of enslaving us.
Now be it therefore resolved that those who are not for us are against us.

We Republicans can justly be proud of our wins last Tuesday. We have a chance to return to those ideals we stand for i.e. low taxes, limited government, less spending and return to rule of law. The American people have given us a second chance and if we blow it we can kiss the Republican Party good by.
I just hope our new crop of conservatives do not become intimidated by the entrenched "estalishment Republicans". Take heed Mr. Speaker. Let's see some action instead of all the rhetoric.

Oh, I think they comprehend it VERY well. The just simply reject the notion that a majority of the American people can disagree with their wonderful agenda. We are simply the unwashed masses, not sufficiently elite to see the greater Progressive vision. Scared, clinging to religion and guns, too stupid, and not thinking clearly enough to hear the Progressive message. They think (and say) their failures as progressives wanting to move the country "forward" have nothing to do with their policies and agenda, but are because they haven't done a good job of educating the ignorant American populace.
I think it's very clear that they (especially BHO-just listen to him over the past couple of days)will talk compromise, but as before, reject it, continue to dig in their heels and demonize and denigrate the Tea Party movement, the Republicans and yes, the American people for failing to swallow their vision.

It is difficult to quote any of the founders in exact context, or paraphrase them into neat "sound-bites, because they were cogent in their thoughts & made effort to be understood- to leave no doubt as to their true belief they usually wrote longer paragraphs than most modern people will willingly read, with that in mind I quote from The Federalist XXI, attributed to Alexander Hamilton, "Where the whole power of the government is in the hands of the people, there is the less pretense for the use of violent remedies in partial or occasional distempers of the State. The natural cure for an ill administration in a popular or representative constitution is a change of men." I say a good start on that sentiment has been accomplished, but there is more to be done.

Government only has the force that we allow them to have. If a government has the support of others that will do their socialistic bidding and enforce unconstitutional legislation we must be willing to resist that illegal unconstitutional tyranny with our lives if necessary, singly or as groups in spite of the outcome or the label that such government may attach to you for your resistance
If we continue to bow down to the threat of force by those acting outside the rule of constitutional law and that are instead enforcing an unconstitutional government decree which is hiding behind a wild interpretation of the actual law then we are nothing but willing slaves keeping only what we are allowed to keep (redistribution of your sweat). Do you want to live as chattel (read Cattle) hoping you’re not next in line for the slaughter?
I pray to GOD that those we just elected realize they were not put in office to do anything but vigorously enforce United States Constitutional law and restore our Republic. We did not elect them to just come up with a smaller easier to swallow socialistic pill. We are a free people and governmental abuses of power “We the People” have granted will not be tolerated.

Unfortunately, living in Massachusetts it is difficult to set brushfires of freedom in the minds

I am pleased that the Republicans won contreol of the house but sorry they did not win control of the senate.
To support and approve the economy I would like to see social security and retired military people receive raises. Military personell who gave 20 years active service were promised 2 1/2 percent for each year of service. This has been denied 2 years in a row. Violating the promises given them.
The money provided all these people would support and improve the economy.
Thank you for any assistance you can give to improve and publish these problems.

Bigotry is irrational intolerance of differing opinions. Since Barak Obama and the leadership of the Democratic Party have adopted the European political ideology of Socialism (which is based on the principles laid out in Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto, i.e.: unjust government power through collectivization of the people's labored-for property), I have a rational intolerance of his opinions. Skin color is not the issue - who owns property is the issue. Does the individual own the fruit of his/her own labor or does government?
“Among the natural rights of the Colonists are these: First, a right to life; Secondly, to liberty; Thirdly, to property; together with the right to support and defend them in the best manner they can.” Samuel Adams
“The rights of persons, and the rights of property, are the objects, for the protection of which Government was instituted.” James Madison
“Where an excess of power prevails, property of no sort is duly respected. No man is safe in his opinions, his person, his faculties, or his possessions.” James Madison
"Property must be secured, or liberty cannot exist." John Adams
"In a free government almost all other rights would become worthless if the government possessed power over the private fortune of every citizen.” Chief Justice John Marshall
“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.” Thomas Jefferson
"To take from one because it is thought that his own industry and that of his father's has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association--the guarantee to every one of a free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it." Thomas Jefferson
“The true foundation of republican government is the equal right of every citizen in his person and property and in their management.” Thomas Jefferson
“Take not from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned.” Thomas Jefferson
“The Constitution of most of our states, and of the United States, assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed and that they are entitled to freedom of person, freedom of religion, freedom of property, and freedom of press.” Thomas Jefferson
“In the general course of human nature, a power over man's substance amounts to a power over his will.” Alexander Hamilton
"Property is the fruit of labor...property is desirable...is a positive good in the world. That some should be rich shows that others may become rich, and hence is just encouragement to industry and enterprise. Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another; but let him labor diligently and build one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built." Abraham Lincoln
“The theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property… In one word, you reproach us with intending to do away with your property. Precisely so; that is just what we intend… The proletariat (labor-challenged, non-disabled poor) will use its political supremacy to wrest, by degree, all capital from the bourgeoisie (laboring middle class), to centralize all instruments of production in the hands of the state (Marxist Government)… Of course, in the beginning, this cannot be effected except by means of despotic inroads on the rights of property… You must, therefore, confess that by "individual" you mean no other person than the bourgeois, than the middle-class owner of property. This person must, indeed, be swept out of the way, and made impossible… And the abolition of this state of things is called by the bourgeois, abolition of individuality and freedom! And rightly so. The abolition of bourgeois (middle class) individuality, bourgeois independence, and bourgeois freedom is undoubtedly aimed at… In short, the Communists everywhere support every revolutionary movement against the existing social and political order of things. In all these movements, they bring to the front, as the leading question in each, the property question, no matter what its degree of development at the time.” Karl Marx

@ Cactusbob -- There is a nifty little site called, "OpenCongress" that can help in this direction. They are free (like the Patriot), and they rely on donations (like the Patriot) - although I am not sure of any corporate ties.
Their information is pretty useful, though...

Ground zero has been located and is awaiting your action. This is for those of you who actually want your country back so that your kids and grandkids will have what we thought we had.

Comment to Norge, You offered no input as to your
military service, so I will except that as a, no
I did not serve. That in my eyes makes you any-
thing but a patriot with no right to speak of
patriotism. Your thoughts are tipical of a person
that refused to serve his country, those of a true
Republican.

The Tea Party has made great strides in the short time it has existed! I see one great lingering obstacle to freedom. Time and time again in the comments of conservatives, mostly in response to articles on FOX, people fail to recognize that their possessions are theirs to do with as they please and not jointly owned by government. Somehow people need to understand that their decision to buy, sell, rent, & form alliances, etc. and partnerships in a free society is not subject to government permission!

President Obama's comments about not thinking straight when I am scared leads me to believe that the "reeducation camps" are not too far in the future.
That is if the progressives get their way.

Military service is a sign of patriotism, but is not a requirement for patriotism. Many Americans love their country and its founding principle of liberty, yet have never served in the military. Some people are better suited for non-military work which helps educate or in other ways benefit our nation - this patriotic website is a good example. There are some who have served in our military yet became enemies of our country - Timothy McVeigh and Lee Harvey Oswald come to mind. In the end love of liberty will reqire individuals to sacrifice something in order to remain free - whether in uniform or not.

Dick,
Medically deferred while trying to enlist, since you asked.
You seem to assume a lot about me, based upon the fact that I disagreed with you when you assumed I was a racist. You may safely assume that I really don't care what you think.
You might also note that by family is bi-racial, and none of my black relatives think I'm a racist. I shall leave you forever with a quote from the late, great John Wayne:
"Life is tough. It's even tougher if you're stupid."

Do not leave yet sir. The late great John Wayne as you so put it, the only uniforms he ever wore were the ones he used to make movies. And according to him, he won WW-2 all by his lonesome. His thoughts on women were, they had two functions, to be pregnant in the winter and bare foot in the summer.
They needed no education at all.He was a real winner. Now while you were medicaly deferred, perhaps, over the years I have been handed that so many times I have lost count. But I served with guys
that were blind in one eye and could not see out of the other. And those were the ones we brought back from Nam in our transport aircraft. Aircraft that I was and engine mechanic on. Not just a few but thousands of them. And over the years I have learned that those that yell the loudest about patriotism do the least. And Norge, be advised that your bi-racial family is of no concern to me,my only concern is the problem that I have with turning this country over to the Republicans again
so they can invade another country then drop it on somebody else. Have a nice life.

You're not done yet. What about 2014? Would not a few extra Supreme Court Justices be needed to lock in the gains that would be challenged in the Courts? It may even take a few Constitutional Amendments to undo Obama's Damage.

Richard Justis,
Your derogatory comments about John Wayne do not fit with the truth. How would you know the inner thoughts of John Wayne regarding women - is it possible you are projecting your own thoughts? Are you a prophet with supernatural power to see into the hearts and minds of others?
"Duke had hoped to attend the U.S. Naval Academy and was named as an alternate selection to Annapolis, but the first choice took the appointment... When war broke out, John Wayne tried to enlist but was rejected because of an old football injury to his shoulder, his age (34), and his status as a married father of four. He flew to Washington to plead that he be allowed to join the Navy but was turned down. So he poured himself into the war effort by making inspirational war films - among them The Fighting Seabees, Back to Bataan and They Were Expendable. To those back home and others around the world he became a symbol of the determined American fighting man. Duke could not be kept from the front lines. In 1944 he spent three months touring forward positions in the Pacific theater. Appropriately, it was a wartime film, Sands of Iwo Jima which turned him into a superstar. Years after the war, when Emperor Hirohito of Japan visited the United States, he sought out John Wayne, paying tribute to the one who represented our nation's success in combat."

Richard Justice,
I am not in total disagreement with you regarding the Republican Party - it has been dominated by establishment bluebloods - something which may be about to change. As in Independent I'm hoping that the amorphous Tea Party (code for Americans who love the Declarataion of Independence and Constitution) can reform the Republican Party into something Abraham Lincoln (and Thomas Jefferson) would admire.
"Entrenched blue-blood Republicans hope to reap the electoral benefits of the tea party movement while simultaneously seeking to discredit it. In the aftermath of the 2010 midterms, it has become clear that the fight for America's future will pass directly through the heart of the Republican Establishment."

For the first time since 1870....1870!!...Republicans took control of the North Carolina state house and senate? The GOP now holds more legislatures than at any time since 1928. There is a lot more going on here than a national congressional victory!

I'm with you, B.B. - I would advise GOP senators to gladly and proudly assume not the label "the Party of No", but the label of "the Party of HELL NO!!!". Hell No! we're not going to adopt the ruinous Marxist policies of Obama and his minions. 'nuff said.

Dear Mark~ 'Thanks' does not seem sufficient for your work in the ministry of enlightening the patriotic less-informed. God grant you more and more success in delivering truth and rekindling love of country. Request: Please email me a list of those whom you referred to as "Establishment Republicans" in your 11-4-10 "Alexander: The Cause of Liberty" article. Your opinion as to exactly who these elected representatives are is validation enough for me and I want to write them to encourage and warn them that Tea Party / Constitutionalist values must be supported by them or they will find themselves unseated. Soli Deo Gloria!
